I've set up IMAP in Mac Mail and it works perfectly fine with my @outlook.com address.

However when I try to use an @hotmail.co.uk I get no messages in my inbox. It downloads messages perfectly fine from the Deleted, Junk and Sent folders but it doesn't grab anything from the inbox folder.

Suggestions? I'd appreciate it if you didn't advise me to set it up again or that it's a config option. I've set it up multiple times with the same result and it can't be a config problem as A) it works perfectly correct with an @outlook address and B) I wouldn't get any emails from the Deleted, Junk and Sent folders if it was a config problem.

Looks like there's a problem with specifically @hotmail.co.uk addresses. Haven't yet tried an @msn address or any other regional Hotmail.

I can't get the outlook app on my samsung galaxy tablet work. I can sign in but after a few seconds I get the message outlook has stopped. What can I do.

Hello,

I have been accessing my Hotmail account with MS Outlook.exe for several years now without a problem. For about a month now, I have been getting an Internet Security Warning dialog box appear every time Outlook.exe is launched. I am warned that the target principal name is incorrect and whether I wish to continue using that server. When I view the certificate, it shows the principal name as  *.hotmail.com issued by GlobalSign.

If I click on Yes to continue using the server, I can get access to my account without any further problems unless I shut down Outlook.exe and restart it again. The dialog box pops up again.

Can anyone explain why this is happening?  Thanks.

Regards...

Hi,

I want to create a email address named *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (my domain is already setup at outlook.com)

*** Email address is removed for privacy *** will consist of 10-15 existing contact (all are under mydomain.com)

For an example: if anyone send a email to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** then 10-15 contacts will get the email.

Is that possible?

I found that I can create a group under People tab, which is for sending email from my domain; but i want to receive email from others in a specific address like *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but this email will consist of 10-15 contacts.

I would appreciate if this issue is resolved.

Thanks
Outlook 2013

After Software update my e-mails do not show up in my inbox under my account. Sent mail I can still see. I can also search and find my mails.

I can find an ost. file with the myaccountname.com(2) under the acount settings/data files. It looks like the (2) is the problem but I cannot find any way as Outlook only seems to recognize .pst files.

How can I correct this?

Thanks

Can anyone from Microsoft help restore my wifes account? Tried to restore it by sending out the restore form, but every time it came back as insufficient info, and no other help options available...(and we not even sure if the details submitted were correct, because she used it for so long she cant even remember all the details!) so now the only option is a new ACCOUNT , but she doesn't need a new account, she needs access to her old one! Is there anything else she could do? I mean what would it take to gain access back to the account?:- phone? pasport copy? blood type?  There must be something that can be done! anyone could contact me to talk?  Microsoft takes security so seriously that even the owner can't access it's own account! ........
when i log into my email i see my home screen for like 5 seconds then the screen just go's white i am using an apple computer what is causing this.? I cant even use my email..
The instructions that I have found so far indicate that you can fade in (at the start) and fade out (at the end) with audio.

Is it possible to fade in and out at various places THROUGH the video? If so HOW do you do it - I think I have tried all possible ways but nothing seems to work!

I am trying to fade out the background music and allow the video soundtrack to be heard - but all I get is BOTH???
