Hi, I am not sure if anyone can help with this issue I am having with only one of my outlook accounts and that is to do with my password not being recognised. I recently had an issue with some idiot sending spam from my account, it had not been hacked
as such just someone piggy backing my account and sending **** to people in my address book. Ever since it has been quiet and my account has not been spammed. However what I am having issues with is every time I go to log in Outlook wants me to reset my password
saying it was either incorrect or it had been entered incorrectly too many times and I was locked out. Now I check my account daily and this will happen several times a day, I only checked my mail last night and it was fine. A friend of mine who had been spammed
by the idiot from my account is also experiencing this blip with signing in...............can anyone help as I am fast running out of different passwords to use............HELP!!!!!! Mandy

For a few months now, I have been unable to send emails from Outlook.com - I get the error 'Sorry, Outlook wasn't able to complete this request' when I hit 'send' button. This only affects me when trying to send emails from
Outlook.com on computers/laptops/desktop devices in all browsers (Chrome, IE8 and Firefox). This does not happen when I use the mobile app or mobile browser. How can I fix this problem when using desktop Outlook.com?

i have created an alias, but the verification email, and the link to verify, terminates in a message "oops we cannot connect at the moment" this has reoccurred on 10 occasions over 2 months, it just doesnt work.
Hi, I would like to obtain the IP log for my email account for the week starting 16th September to date as I am concerned that it had been compromised, I have completed the account validation process and have the verification email available.

I'm trying to deactivate/close my Outlook.com account. I've canceled my ad-free subscription, but when I go to close the account option, I'm told to close my Microsoft Billing service.
I go to billing.microsoft.com (as told) but there is no such option to cancel the "billing service".
I'd like to close this account rather than let it expire. I appreciate any help in accomplishing this task.

For your reference, I got the e-mail reply from Microsoft account.
"Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously, and our commitment to protecting your personal information requires that we take the utmost care in ensuring that you are the account owner."
I can told I've already try my best to answer all the questions already. I really don't know how to do right now.

Having successfully managed to send and receive emails to and from a legacy email address I would now like if possible move my older emails to outlook.exe. They are currently on outlook 2003 running on an windows XP machine that I want to retire. I am
ideally looking for step by step instructions.
1. Am I allowed to use automated mail program (written by me) to send emails(using my email account) to those users who register with my service? If yes, what strategy should I follow so that my account is not blocked? Is there any provision of white-listing
of the IP address from where the email originates?
2. If the answer to the above question is "no", then what approach should I follow?
FYI, I am building a useful service (and not some unsolicited service or spamming ) that would use automated email sending script to do the following:
1. The activation code to the user that register with this service.
2. The new reset-password, in case the user forgets his/her password and he/she requests for the same.
