When connecting to my email address via outlook I get "The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that does not match its Internet Address. Do you want to continue using this server?". I understand this can be caused by man-in-the-middle
attacks. I have been checking my email comfortably for years before this problem occurred. I am using:
pop3.live.com
port: 995
This server requires a secure &connection (SSL)
No Secure Password Authentication
smtp.live.com
Port: 25
This server requires a secure &connection (SSL)
Outgoing server requires authentication -> Use same settings as my incoming mail server
Have you changed certificates within the last month? Could you provide new details?
Hi,
I am trying to recover my live.co.uk account, after it was hacked into (AGAIN).
The alternative email registered to my account was also a live account, and was also hacked into!! So I filled in the questionnaire to get a recovery link sent to me. It said it would take up to 24 hours to hear anything... I still have not had a reply
and it's been 5 days!!

Can someone please check why this is so that I can get my account activate again.

I accessed my Outlook.com account on my laptop in the last 36 hours to clear out some emails in hotmail mailbox. Since then my iphone and ipad stopped receiving emails. Cant send either.
When prompted to put in the password in ipad or iphone, it is rejected and a message advises "unable to verify account information"
What can I do please to get everything working again.

How to add on outlook for Mac 2011, an outlook.com email account given from my company.
For example on outlook.com i sigh in as "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" On iOS it syncs my mail,cause it gives 1 option for Microsoft Exchange,(like on Mac and Android), but it also has the option to create a Microsoft Hotmail account, which on Mac and Android it doesn't
have it as an option.
Have read all 500 posts & copyied 30 pages of great tips. Tried WLM repairs, several uninstalls, restored back 2 months, clean boot. WLM works on my small laptop (Win 7 Starter), but freezes up with blue circle on Desktop. Would be grateful for help,
as we use it a lot as it is better than regular provider's email format.

I am using Internet Explorer 10 and Windows Live Mail 2011 - both are set as defaults. I cannot print any emails. Windows Live Mail does not see my printer but I can print from every other program!! Frustrating. Any thoughts?
