My email is affected differently on a daily basis.  Some days it's incoming that won't work, and other days it's outgoing.

 

Something is going on "behind the scenes" that alters my settings. I do not change email settings or other settings.

The current settings recommended by our "Comcast" server is as follows:

 

outgoing suggested by CC today is = 587 ( yesterday suggested setting was 465 ) ?

incoming suggested by CC today is 110

 

SAME PC = My husband's email is never affected. 

 

Anyone that can assist in some solution to this issue would be appreciated.

I have Microsoft live mail.  I get my e-mails, but they take forever to open, and when they do, the heading is there, i.e., sender/receiver/subject line, but the body of the e-mail isn't there.  What to do to fix it?  Microsoft didn't have an answer for me.

Windows Live Mail starts up automatically.   I have cleared all the tick boxes in 'options' and it still starts up.   In desperation I have moved my email to an internet site, set Live Mail to 'offline' , it still persisted to start up, so I removed my account number which deleted all my non saved emails; and it still starts up!   There must be another setting, where is it?

I desperately need to access my account to pick up a password reset email from Instagram. Without it, I can no longer access my Instagram account which is essential for my blogs. Can you please check if the account is still available on your system, as I don't remember when I last signed in? My email address is [removed for privacy]. I don't particularly want to keep this email address, but I do need to receive this one email which can be resent to this account if the original one has been deleted.

I closed my hotmail by mistake, managed to reactivate but now all my emails are gone. Have I lost them forever?All my contacts seem to be there, just no email.
I think my account got hacked, and I'm trying to reset the password, I never changed the password myself personally, but one day I tried to log on to it and the password was changed, I thought no more of it and just made a new one because I wasn't fond of the email address anyway. I made this account when I was about 11, so I must have lied about my age (I know I shouldn't have done that), I also never used this address for emails and I never made any extra folders, so that rules out the form way of getting my email back. I also don't have access to the phone number that I used for this account, or the alternative email so I can't get a reset link! This is particularly annoying because it means I'm locked out of my Xbox live account due their new proofs thing, and if I stay locked out I've essentially wasted a third of the sixty euro I spent on my yearly membership, not to mind all my save games I won't be able to access.
I am having major problems with Microsoft's ridiculous security code system.
I have two accounts [removed for privacy] and [removed for privacy].
I now have no access to the latter email address as your security codes never work.
When I go to sign in to the 'art' email account it asks me for a security code, it tells me it is sending one to my phone, but it doesn't send anything to my phone. So, I request it to be sent to my alternative account [removed for privacy]
The security code arrives at my account, it worked once... and now when I go to sign in again it asks once more for a security code. BUT now they don't work.
The stupid site then suggests updating security details. And do you realise  what is stupid about this? It asks once again for a security code for access to security details. And guess what? The codes you send do not work.
I now have no access to a very important email account. I also have no access to my security details. I am sure that you must realise that somewhere along the line, that the account holder not having access to their own details and security is probably against data protection.
So I need this sorting and I need it sorting out fast.

What happened?


 

On 1st September, I received an alert message at 11:54am from my phone service provider (vodaphone) noticing me that my monthly 1GB datahas been used 50% (which is impossble as i only start of my plan this month back then).


 

Same date at 13:15pm, 85% of the 1GB monthly data has been used up.


 

Same date at 15:18pm, 100% of the 1GB Monthy data finished. ---> this crazy speed usage situaton has happened continuosly until Thursday ( 5th September)


 

Reason of Excessive 3g usage

I was asking help from vodaphone's technical staff, unfortunately, the problem was not FOUND until Wednesday night (4th Sep) when i log into my *** Email address is removed for privacy ***emal.


 

I found out: The email ( containing 25MB of photos )that I tried to send on 29th August 2013 to myself from my iphone's hotmail app was sent 77 times from my phone non-stoply.


 

At first, I was just trying to send the photos from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** ONCE!


 

and it ends up sending 77 times. I've been to the apple store, and the techinical department clearly states it's HOTMAIL's problem. Not the iphone's problem.


 

(I did up a calculation: 77 emails from this error!!!!!)


 

55 emails with a big size of33.60M (each) = 55 x33.60 =1848 MB

2.Can you please provide me a written document showing my excess 3G data is due to “HOTMAIL”’s problem. Not my own intention to use that much to send the same email. They are not asking for very formal documentations. BUT just an explanation so that I won’t be charged crazily ($400 Australian dollar)
