Hello, Microsoft I have a Hotmail account from long years ago and signed up with it on Facebook and now I'm trying to log in with it but Microsoft telling me that the account doesn't exist , I tried to recover the password and another time the account doesn't exist , so I tried to recover it from here :   https://account.live.com/acsr but still not exist  But Facebook told that they've send an email to it and showing me it that exist .    so please Microsoft send a PRIVATE REPLY  or message so I can give you my account and Help me recover it again . P.S  I didn't rename anything , I didn't log in with it from like years !! and I tried to go here : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/id-support but It didn't help .

I need some help. Tried logging into my email account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) yesterday and got this error. I have filled up the questionaire but unable to remember the answer to my security question (made 10 years ago!) and detailed information like the mails I've sent out and recieved. I am unable to verify myself using my phone number (+65 90475512) as well since I just changed my phone number a few days ago. Seems like there're many others who were able to list out more information than I did but still not able to be verified due to lack of details.

I really need access to my mails as the only way I log into my school website is via the information in the mails they have sent me. My examination details would also be sent to my email in which I need to print out to be able to sit for my examinations (which is due VERY soon) . I also have many other accounts linked to this particular email address such as paypal, and it would be so much of a hassle to change every single one. 

Really frustrated right now and hope someone can assist me with this problem, as it would not be fair that I delay my examinations (and delay my graduation!) due to a security feature which probably activated because I check my mail on my boyfriend's computer and my own at home regularly.

I usually receive around 20 emails per day but since
Thursday I am now only getting about 2-3
 I have changed my password in the event that I have been hacked but is there anything else you could suggest or could you investigate to see whether there is anything untoward in my account.

I used a hotmail account in 2008/09 to set up myspace account, after 3 years dormant, I tried to sign in but I forget my password.
I am unable to retrieve my old password on myspace, can anyone help me? :'(

Only recently, occasionally refuses to send email, as I have not added a cc or bcc.

 

OK I can cure it by closing program and reopening, it is irritating.

Out of nowhere yesterday evening, Windows Live Mail stopped communicating with my mail server and I had made no changes to the account at all.  It would time out after 60 seconds.  As the mail client on my phone still worked, I knew it wasn't an issue with the server.  I took the following steps:

- Verified settings with hosting company, all were correct
- Removed and re-added the account. It will connect to the server and redownload all messages up until the time that the issue started occurring.
- Accessed webmail and deleted the last couple messages that came in before it stopped working and the message after it stopped working as well.
- Ran virus scan
- Ran a repair on Windows Essentials
- Removed and reinstalled Windows Essentials
- Retest, same issue
- Installed Thunderbird to see if it was my computer or Windows Live Mail.  Thunderbird worked perfectly fine, no issues, no errors.
- Did a COMPLETE removal of Windows Essentials including registry keys, etc etc etc
- Reinstalled Windows Essentials
- Set it back up and experienced the same issue.
- Removed the account
- Readded using SSL/TLS settings.  IT WORKS! The only issue is that I don't have an SSL/TLS certificate so I get an error message whenever I open the program.
- Went back to no SSL/TLS, same issue occurred.

So at this point, it is 100% confirmed after several discussions with my hosting company as well as HP that this is an issue with Windows Live Mail.  For whatever reason, with the correct settings it WILL NOT connect to my IMAP server without SSL/TLS turned on.  Which is a pain because I get an error message any time I close/reopen the program.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Any former ijango.com e-mail users that have had problem getting e-mail coming through since the end of August I would like to hear from you. I don't recall getting any e-mail from anyone giving me a new log in or a new 'server' name to reconnect to the account. Any response is welcome.

For the past 24 hours, my Windows Live email has continually shown a "Working offline" and large red X in the lower right corner of my screen.  If I click the "go online" tab on top of the screen, I get a message telling me I'm currently working offline, and asking if I'd like to work online.  I click "yes," and it shows I'm online until I attempt to do something, like send or receive emails, at which point it immediately says I'm working offline again.  I've gone through this routine dozens of times.  I've rebooted the modem, and even tried reinstalling Live, but nothing changes.  The emails are coming into my Virgin account, but not being transferred to Live Mail.  I've never had this problem before, and it's probably down to something I've accidentally ticked, but I'm at a loss...  HELP??  Thanks!
