My contact list has reverted back to the contact list I had 5 years ago.  I no longer have any current contacts on my list.  Where did my current contact list go and how do I get it back?

 

I have Microsoft Windows Live that I open my Hotmail account into. 

I can’t recover my account with the recovery forms

Here is my situation.

I used an email address just for my xbox live account.
And because i rarely even used it, i forgot the password.

I tried the recovery form and waited 24 hours as they said it would take. But was the system denied my request.
I also tried the secret recovery question/answer but it seems i've forgotten that as well...

I tried finding the email address on my console just to see if i got it right,
but after the update it seems to have signed me out from accessing the account settings.

Alternate email account invalid

My hotmail account that I used for years is requiring me to provide an alternate email account to access my inbox. I provide the alternate email account but a popup says that the alternate email account is not valid, thus, I cannot click next to continue to my inbox. The alternate email account I’m providing IS VALID. Please help!

WLM — How do I remove the Search box?

I just realized that I posted a WLM question in the wrong group (again).  Silly me.  I posted to Windows/Windows 7/Email whereas anyone with a brain would know that the proper group is Outlook and SkyDrive for WLM questions.  Forgive me (again) professionals.  Here is the question I just posted:

 

In a moment of weakness, I clicked "Add to Quick Access Toolbar" from the Ribbon.  I didn't have a particular command in mind.  I just wanted to see what the choices were.  Suddenly a Search box appeared at the top of my email listings, taking up several unnecessary lines.  There is no undo for this action and I cannot drag the box back to the Ribbon.  Once the Search box has been added in this fashion, is there any way to permanently remove it?

mail hacked, can’t gain access

Dear Microsoft Team,

My hotmail, which I used for as long as I can remember, was hacked about a week ago. When I try to log in, it says that password is wrong and after second attempt it asks me to verify my account. I can't use the alternative mail option, because that mail address was lost due to inactivity. 
When I try to verify it with a secret question it says that the answer is wrong, even though I am sure it's right. I did fill in the verification form twice with correct information, but nevertheless it was not enough to verify my ownership. Therefore, I suspect that all my information was changed, including mails and folder names. 
I have a huge amount of valuable contacts and personal information in my hotmail and skydrive, I can't imagine losing it all...
Please, help me to regain access to my hotmail, I will be endlessly grateful for your help!

Whenever I click on a mail in windows live mail, in reading panel the head and the subjects place goes black until I move over mouse on that area.

I cannot verify my account

5 days ago I got an error when trying to access xbox live using my hotmail account.

 

When i tried to login on my computer I got the message "Someone else might be using your account"

 

The alternate mail and mobile number are old and I cannot use them to verify my account.

I click the links and fill in the questionaire but as I dont use this account other than on my xbox I am unable to answer anything like

Folders you have created

Recent email subjects

Recent email contacts

 

I am however able to provide my credit card details used on the account

 

BUT

 

All I get is an automated email saying try again.

 

Please help as I have now been trying to resolve this for 5 days now

Windows Live Mail acted as if it exported then imported contents [without having received command to do so] and all of a sudden many folders are missing and within the folders, the contents are confused. In many cases, the contents of one message is repeated over and over again regardless of the subject/sender/date of messages.  This also skips folders, with the same message appearing in many folders.  Any ideas as to how to recover lost folders and to solves this problem?
