The message appears in the inbox folder when Live mail is opened butI  get message saying 'message cannot be found'.  If I try and delete this message then Windows Live mail hangs and is greyed out. The message does not appear in the sub-folder ...Appdata /Microsoft/Windows Live Mail/.../inbox but is listed under inbox whenever I open Windows live mail. How can I get rid of it?

I work in a long term care facility.  One of our residents wants to log on to her facebook.  She cannot remember the password to her facebook OR her HOTMAIL account.  We have tried twice now to reset using the form, using my business email as an alternate for the link to be sent.  Both times the reply has said that we did not provide enough information.  We provided what she could remember.  I physically called and spoke with someone, who walked me through the exact same steps giving me the exact same results.  I simply need a link sent to ME to help this resident have access to her accounts again.  Please help!

Original title: Can an advisor from hotmail or Microsoft  help me to retrieve my email account?

I urgently need to retrieve my email account but am being blocked from the questionnaire and security path.  Can I speak or be emailed from an advisor that can support direct from hotmail or Microsoft?

So I use my email address everyday. I logged into my account and all of my contacts and emails have been deleted. I am unable to restore any of them. My emails were extremely important and I know that they are fully wiped off the system after 5 days.
It may help to mention that I was logged into my other account beforehand and then shut that address down. After re-logging into my main account, all that was there was the welcome email from microsoft. I have chatted to 3 tech support people and none have helped. Please help.

Nope... it did not work Richard

BUT... thank you anyway for closing this thread before I even had chance to check the solution or should I say copy and pased the same old thread of words that I have been continually reading for the past 5 days.

So what's plan B to help out this very very unhappy customer???

      I cannot verify my account

5 days ago I got an error when trying to access xbox live using my hotmail account.

When i tried to login on my computer I got the message "Someone else might be using your account"

The alternate mail and mobile number are old and I cannot use them to verify my account.

I click the links and fill in the questionaire but as I dont use this account other than on my xbox I am unable to answer anything like

    Folders you have created

    Recent email subjects

    Recent email contacts

I am however able to provide my credit card details used on the account

    BUT

All I get is an automated email saying try again.

Please help as I have now been trying to resolve this for 5 days now

I have tried copying the info from my colleagues signature and it just posts the "jpeg.image" and not the icon.
