I am unable to remember the password to an old account I made to link to my Xbox Live account when I first got Xbox. I've tried every possible way to retrieve the forgotten password. I have filled out the online password recovery request form repeatedly but I keep getting rejected because I can't remember enough information associated with the account. I've spoken on the phone with Xbox live customer service as well as Microsoft customer service. I now can't get on to my Xbox live account because I need this password to accept the new terms of use.

There are certain emails that are not showing up in my inbox on Windows Live Mail (WLM). I know they are still there because they show up on my email on my phone or when I log onto my web-based email. On WLM, the particular email that is not showing up will only show up when I do a "Search" in "All email, and it will show that it is in the Inbox folder, but when I conduct the search from the "Inbox" folder it does not show up. And I've noticed it is from a particular sender. I did not add this sender to junk or block. This makes me uncomfortable now, because I don't know what other emails are not showing up that are actually there. Anybody have any ideas how to get them to show back up? I am not willing to move mail and/or folders and rename or delete and re-create folders, as I have over 50 folders and subfolders. I am not willing to create a new email profile either. I've noticed those are some options others have listed on similar foums. I don't know much about POP3 and IMAP and all those other acronyms.

I really don't see any significant benefit from enabling or disabling this 'remove from sever when deleted from deleted items'  because  I have tried adding a Gmail account using POP3, then I have deleted account. However, I saw that the messages on the remote mail server are still there. I have tried deleting some messages from inbox into deleted items while account is still added in WLM, then I deleted from deleted items. Finally, I still saw no messages deleted from remote mail server of gmail account.

I added a Gmail account in WLM using 'POP3', then let incoming server require 'SSL'. However, outgoing doesn't need SSL. But when I receive a new mail, I see it saved in Junk of the account added in WLM. On the other hand, when I made outgoing sever require SSL, any new mail became saved in inbox. 
I am quite sure that an incoming  server of mail client is responsible for receiving mails from remote mail server. Thus, I think that any new mails should be saved in inbox even outgoing is set up to not require SSL.

I use Windows Live Mail to access Outlook inbox. I often receive an error message which reads:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Outlook (davidhorrocks) account.
Server Error: 0x80048849

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048849
Does anyone know what the error ID means?

I just recently decided to start playing Ace Combat: Assault Horizon again, but am running into a problem. I can't log into the Games for Windows Live account and when I try to recover my password, I can't access the site. I found out that Windows Live is shutting down, but the game won't let me save my progress without logging in. Is there an update to fix this problem?

My account of hotmail, was blocked, and when I unblock the account I lost all of my emails.
How can I have access to them. I have important information there, so it's a big problem for me.
I hope you can help me with my problem.

I am having this issue with my Windows Live  Mail desktop application. It started with an issue of a"loop" of trying to connect to my calendar. Saw this at the lower right corner of the application.  I disabled the "sign-in feature" and that fixed the "loop" but still doesn't connect to mail server.  I get the Error message "Error: Unable to send or receive messages Server Error 3204."  I looked for an answer in this forum and tried the various fixes - Deleting accounts and re-creating, adjusting the connection to the internet, checked for firewall interference, repaired Live essentials.  None of these did the trick. Can someone please assist me as well?  Thank you.
