Hi, I have an old messenger account I would like to use again. I had to recover it as I hadn't logged into it from this computer before and now it wants me to merge it into a skype account. Is there any way to verify that my contacts are still there before I go head and merge it?

Translation:

Someone sent me an email

I want to add their name to my address book

I right click on their name (in their email)

and add

Then find that Live Mail has put their first name in the last name cell + vice versa = I have to switch these manually

Recurrent problems with Windows Live Mail: Server error 3204 etc.

I am having recurrent problems with Windows Live Mail. Sometimes I get the 3204 error message (Unable to send or receive messages: Server error 3204. Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0X8DE2003), and sometimes WLM will not open at all.  I employ a number of strategies to get it running: checking for mail stuck in the Outbox, deleting my two accounts then adding them back, running WNL diagnostic, repairing Essentials, uninstalling Essentials then reinstalling, running CCcleaner, running System Restore. Eventually something works, although I can never predict which. Frustratingly, the fix only lasts a few days...WLM has gone down five times since I started keeping a log on November 18. Where do I go from here?

Deleting a message which can’t be found

I have an email stuck in my inbox.  I couldn't open it so deleted the message.  Now it remains in my inbox, says 'message can't be found' but won't let me delete it.  It won't let me move it to a folder either.  I get a repeating message saying an unknown error has occurred when I try.  I also just tried deleting it from my server but it remains in my inbox!

It's not ground shaking but it's annoying to have it sitting there, I like a tidy inbox with only messages waiting to be answered in it :)

I am having issues signing into my second hotmail account. I do not remember my password. I don't remember my secret question answer. I followed the instructions where I have to fill out some information to reset my password but it didn't work. I called support to explain my dilemma and they locked my account and told me to post my question here. HELP PLEASE

Not all emails appear in Windows Live Mail

I currently have an issue where not all emails are being delivered to my Microsoft Live Mail program.  If I check my online portal for Virgin, the emails are there but when I check my Live Mail program, some mails are not delivered where others are fine.

Please can you help me with this issue?
