I cannot send e-mail through smtp-mail.outlook.com

Hi there,


I have an Outlook.com account which I've tried to use Thunderbird, Outlook 2011 and Mac Mail to send e-mails. I use IMAP configuration to receive all e-mails and folders fine. However I could not send a single e-mail through any of this e-mail clients (through the webmail I can send e-mails normally).


I've been using the Microsoft official guidance in order to setup STMP account (smtp-mail.outlook.com, port 587, TLS connection, password and etc) but every time I receive a message which says "the SMTP server connection time out".


Important to say that I can receive and send e-mails through Gmail account settings on any of those e-mails clients but Outlook is still not sending. 



Anyone could help me please?

My emails and folders have disappeared altogether

Ive just signed in and all of my emails have disappeared and all my folders and every options box is empty.  Please help?.  Its almost like its a brand new account created.... What's happened?.  It has not been done by me.  Its like Outlook had created a brand new account and deleted the old one.  Please Help restore this.

I have been using this HP Printer for about 2 years. Now the printer will not print, a message comes up -not enough storage is available to process command-an error has occurred in the script on this page. What do I do.

Skydrive taking 12+ hrs to upload 5.2Gb

Hello All,

I'm using Skydrive's application.  Was interested/thinking about getting more storage if I saw performance was satisfactory, but...

Skydrive in my system tray is showing 5.2Gb of 5.2Gb (9 files remaining) downloading.  I've had my computer on for approx. 12hrs and when I went to bed last night it was at around 3.5Gb downloaded.  When I woke up it was 5.0 and has now been "stuck" at 5.2 for the last 2 hrs (same amount of files remaining, i.e. 9).

Is this an issue w/Skydrive or is it me? Any way to see the details (i.e. percentage downloaded, or left to download) somewhere?

Like I said, I would like to use Skydrive, especially since I'm going to be getting a Surface RT soon, but if this sort of issue persists (i.e. upload/sharing speed slow), then I may not.  If so, any other recommendations?

Can’t register domain, getting error: This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language.

I'm trying to register my domain on https://domains.live.com/ and I am receving the error, "This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language."  Any help to get my domain approved would be appreciated. 

 

The domain name is: penguinsystems.net

account name free to use again

Hello,

After I choose to delete my @outlook.com account, when exactly the name becomes free to use again ?
Like many others, I created a new @outlook.com email address before I knew I have the option to change my current email address to the new desired one. My only option is to delete the new one, wait for the name to become free to use again and then choose it.

So again, let's say I delete my @outlook.com address today, the 7th of October 2013. When will the name be free to use again ?

Cant acess my email account

So, i tried to acess my hotmail account after some time and then i get a mesage saying someone might be using my account, as my alter email wasn't one of the options i submited a form to get my account back, but it said  "you didn't filled enough info..." then i reseted my password sucessfully, hoping i could get to my account, but that freaking message showed up again! How can someone be using my account if i just RESETED IT! Why don't you let me into my account?????????
Then, i tried submiting a new form, filling my 4 PREVIOUS PASSWORD, AND IT STILL SAID I DIDN'T FILLED ENOUGH INFO, HOW IS 4 PASSWORD NOT ENOUGH INFO, AND WHY CANT I GET TO MY ACCOUNT BY JUST RESETING MY PASSWORD???????????????????
