I need to reset my Live password for an account that uses a gmail address.

When I request a reset password be sent to my address, it says it has sent me an email.  However an email never arrives. 

When I choose the "other option", it gives me a form to apply for a Live account.  I already have a Live account.  I just want to recover my password.  All I need is for the link to be sent to my gmail account.  

What can I do? 
How to auto sync outlook.com email and Outlook 2010 email?  Currently I'm only able to do it manually, that's if I REMEMBER to do it; thus the reason for an auto sync.

I recently created an email account; *****@scrummylane.com using the Windows Live Admin Center for a domain I own.  The domain is activated and working well.  The email was never activated and have now forgotten the password.  I do not wish to delete the account because I realise that it can never be recreated once deleted.

 

We would like to use this email address, but cannot see any way to reset the password using the Windows Live Admin Center.  The standard Windows Live password recovery options are no good, because the account was never actually activated.

 

Are you able to help me recover this account?

I assume Microsoft knows this is a system wide problem. I have had numerous updates to Windows 7 the last few days, and hoped they fixed it, but noi such luck. This is not just Elenarif. Have tried all the things above and no luck.

I'm currently limited to checking my mail on the web. I will; continue to follow this thread, and hope for updates.

1. I get only few emails and still about 75% of my emails on outlook.com email account.  even when I check at live.com or anywhere. and hence these never get synched with BB z10 smartphone.

 

Most important of this  email confirmation for my hotel reservations on business travel,   the same email works fine for flight reservations.

 

I am really clueless as to what is wrong here.

 

 

I've lost access to my old hotmail account that I was in the process of saving addresses and documents from. I'm being told it doesn't exist? Please help! I need to access it and get the rest of my important email addresses etc.

I re-installed outlook 2010 yesterday(I deleted email account and all files from outlook before re-installed), after reinstallation, I found all emails in hotmail lost. How can I recover the lost emails (about 20000 emails in hotmail), can I ask microsoft for help? can anyone give me assistance? Many thanks

I sometimes write email when I'm offline using Outlook 2010. The "default" is my personal Outlook account. Although the "From" box has an arrow, shows my business Gmail account and shows "From" Gmail account when I click it, when the specific email arrives it always shows the default personal Outlook email address, not the business Gmail business address I want to send from! This is a problem - I don't want clients having my personal email and, if I switch to the Gmail address as the default, my friends are confused.
I do not have this problem with Outlook online; I am able to switch senders and it comes through correctly.

I was locked out of my Hotmail account on Mon 7th Oct, receiving the message that I need to verify who I was. The contact e-mail on my account was out of date so I filled in the questionnaire and used a friends email address to receive the reply. I got an email saying I had provided enough information and that an email with a new password had been sent. This email has never been received, but when I try to sign in it says the password has been changed. I have tried using the sign in with a single use access code 3 times but have never received a code. I have filled in the questionnaire at least twice more only to be told that I haven't provided enough information despite the first one saying that I had.

I tried phoning customer services only to be told that they can't help me. I have had to create a new account just to be able to post this question as all pages of supposed help lead back to the signing in page, not much use when you have been locked out of your account.

What am I supposed to do? This system doesn't work.
