Hello,
My email account on Outlook suddenly doesn't receive emails.
Everything was fine until this morning when I simply stopped receiving emails.
I can send them out no problem but I've sent myself some test emails but I don't receive them.
I changed NOTHING in the settings and use the same internet explorer 9 or chrome to access my account. I even tried accessing it from my friends computer and still the same problem - can't receive emails. I thought maybe my inbox is full so I erased tons of old messages but still I won't receive any new mail.

Please help since I'm expecting some important email!

Thanks,
Efrat

My Inbox does not show my incoming emails prior to 1 October 2013 although I did not delete any of these emails.

How can I recover them.

I have recovered all my "deleted" emails and they do not show here.

Is there an option to limit the size of IMAP folders? Unfortunately, Mac Mail.app has no option for this and I don't want to download every email in my account.

Gmail has an option "Limit IMAP folders to contain no more than this many messages: 1000".

Thunderbird client has an option "Synchronize the most recent: XX Days/Weeks/Months/Years".

I was asked to open a new thread.

I have had my Hotmail account for 11 years but have not used it as frequently recently due to Hotmail being banned where I work. I logged into my account yesterday and found that all of my emails, folders and contacts had been deleted. I understand from the Terms that this has probably occurred due to me not accessing my account for 270 days. I did not realise that there was this condition or that it had been that long since I last logged in. Is it possible for my emails, folders and contacts to be restored ? I would really appreciate it, I feel quite upset that I have lost all of my historical emails. I have used my Hotmail account all over the world. I will ensure in the future to log into my account more frequently, now that I know that this can happen. Please help.
This is urgent, my hotmail email account is being hacked by an old email account that is linked to it and being used to gain access via the password forgot feature. I need this email to be remove/disassociated with my new email account so its no longer possible for the hackers to gain access via this route.

I tried using the edit security option but it says I have to wait till November before I can edit it!
Basically, I use xbox live a lot, and it came up two months ago about security proofing. I haven't got a clue what my password is for that email account, and since then I've been unsuccessful to get it back, I've tried filling in the security form to but I'm still unable to get it back. Is there any other way I can get my password back?
