Deleted outlook.com email address

Hello there,
I have mistakenly closed an outlook account that I want to reactivate. How do I reactivate it? One more thing, I created an alias with that account that I would also like to be able to use to sign up for a separate new outlook,com account. Is that possible to resolve? Frankly, I don't want to wait a whole year to be able to register with that user name again.

Hi,

I have two folders in my outlook.com account that I transferred to outlook 2010, however the file corrupted immediately and I have lost the emails. I need these for a court case, is there any way I can restore them?

Hi,

I tried registering an email account with a domain name (www.standardsonline.com.au) in the admin center and it came up with the following message:

"This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case."

The website will be used to sell technical standard documents online so the domain name is suitable and is registered in Australia.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Running Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit and I go to outlook.com and sign in to Outlook.com and it shows my name with my Yahoo email adress. How do I get an account ending *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and how will messages be sent to me using outlook.com? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

1. impacted email address: the email that i gave you to notify me of responses

2. browser: firefox 24.0

3. OS: windows vistaTM home premium

4. device: laptop

5. description: i open an email with a paperclip representing an attachment. it has the preview pane but it is blank. i can't do screenshots but the page has (reading down from the left of the email)

 - subject

 - sender's name followed by a paperclip timestamp and the word photos

 - to: me

 - a paperclip

 - a blank section

 - download as zip

normally the blank section is populated with either a preview of the photo or a file icon i can click to open it using picassa or to save to my downloads folder (if it's a MS word doc, it will be the word icon showing. i don't have issues with word docs or pdf or xls)

6. i am using https

7. no settings were changed but reading some other threads on similar issues, i decided to switch OFF active view

Tried everything I can think of to copy archived emails to disc to no avail. Any suggestions?

Can’t reply to senders not in Contacts List in Outlook 2010

Hi

 

I recently installed Outlook 2010 and Windows 7 on my wife's computer, after upgrading her from Windows Mail and Vista. I imported her existing mail and contacts. The problem we now have is that when she tries to reply to an email received from someone not in her Contacts List, the attempt fails. She is able to click on the Reply button and type a reply message, but when she clicks on the Send button, a message pops up:

 

Check Names

MS Outlook does not recognise "xxxxx"

Select the Address to use

No suggestions

 

The only way to send the message appears to be to add the person to the Contacts list.

 

There are no problems in replying to a message received from someone in her Contacts list.

 

When I compare her messages to those in my installation of Outlook 2010 I note that I can right click on any name in a To: or From: box and can get the properties and hence the person's email address. With my wife's installation, when I right click on a name all I can see is Cut, Copy, Paste and Clear greyed out and Select in black and clickable. This may perhaps provide a clue to what the problem is.

cannot connect to Facebook Chat via Outlook.com

I was trying to reconnect my Facebook account with Outlook.com. Yet, I can just view my updates and notification via the People Apps in Windows 8.
I can't connect to Facebook Chat and it was giving me such a great trouble. I was unable to chat using my Windows 8 Messaging Apps all the time since I can't connect to Facebook Chat.

May I know what's the problem? Is this a bug or else?

Missing sent items

It's second time happened to me to find missing emails in sent item folder.

I'm sure I did not deleted this items and I can't find them in Deleted folder.

Please advise.

 

Does anyone know how to download the 365 app in New Zealand?

I keep trying to download the 365 app, but it says "Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the New Zealand store before purchasing." Is there a NZ store for this?
