I have Windows 7 and have had Windows Movie Maker (from Essentials 2012) installed since last year.
I can add photos to a project fine but when I add ANY type of video I get the message "Movie Maker Transcoder" has stopped working.
This was working fine before (the same version)
I know it's not the codecs because windows media player will play all the video formats fine. (MOV, WMV, mp4 etc)
I am completely stumped.
I tried reinstalling Essentials 2012 (just moviemaker) but to no avail.
The only thing that changed was I intalled and uninstalled a third party product "EZVid" to compare with Movie Maker.
Nothing I do seems to fix this problem. I tried restarting windows. uninstalling and reinstalling Movie Maker 2012.
Perhaps the install of ezvid corrupted the registry somehow?
Help!!!!
I have already registered 5 domains through domain.live.com and all these domains are hosted by the same server including the new one that just won't prove.
The domain name is americanbrake.com.au. I have setup all the necessary MX records and TXT records exactly the same as every other domain I have registered thus for but for some reason americanbrake.com.au just won't prove.
I have done a test using www.dnssy.com and I can see that the correct MX and TXT records are showing up.
What am I doing wrong? I have followed all the help. Set up this domain exactly the same as every other. I have even deleted the domain off the hosting server and the Administrator panel for Outlook.com and recreated both with new MX and TXT records but still not proving.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Denis
I had just added my own domain (say pathwayt.com) - which is authorised and working - and I use my outlook.com address to sign in and administer the domain.
I have created a few users and these are working fine. but I have run into a problem.
I created an account for me (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and for some reason I cannot login to this account. There was a message flashed on these screen when I created the account (something about merging) and unfortunately this happened at the same time as a bit of a disaster in the office (which I am still dealing with!) and I confess to pressing the next button and I think I agreed to the merge - but I am not sure.
Also, I have created and *** Email address is removed for privacy *** address and would like this to be used as the domain administrator from now on. How can I change this?
I can't see why I cannot get into my own account in the domain and cannot see what I have done wrong. Can anyone help me please?
Thanks,
Paul
When I receive an email with an attachment it comes as a zipped file. If I try to open it a dialogue box pops up that says
View Downloads - Windows Internet Explorer, then I click on open and the same box keeps flashing. Outlook has gone downhill
After upgrading to windows 8.1 I have lost the last week of university work I have stored on there. Before the upgrade, all files uploaded fine (and there should be a copy on my hard drive which is gone) - after the upgrade the last week of work has disappeared.
Is there anyway to get these files back or was I fool for trusting a Microsoft product to just to a basic upload to it's server without going off on one and deleting everything like it has a mind of its own?
Many thanks,
