It is getting extremely disturbing that you prevent pictures and photos from being shown in emails that are sent to me.  I don't know why you don't allow these to come through, but when someone sends me an email and wants me to see a picture, I don't need you stopping them from showing. WHY DO YOU DO THIS????   Also, you send stuff to my junk box and stuff is not showing because it's blocked out by you and say it's' because you think the email may hurt me in some way.  I am adult enough to know what I should read and not read.  It's like as if you think you are doing something good but most of the time, it's just very annoying that I have to tell you that the email is safe.

Mostly, I am concerned about not getting pictures that you obstruct -- all there is a box with some sort of image that's real small and nothing I do will let the picture come through.  So what is this about?


Installed TB the other day. Took it a while, but eventually seemed to get all my emails from my Outlook account using IMAP. Then I tried moving some 1000+ emails from one folder into my Inbox which already had almost 1000. TB said it did it, but they didn't show up in Inbox. Checked Outlook web-mail, they hadn't been moved. So I move them using Outlook's webmail instead. So TB shows the emails in my Inbox now. And I install Duplicate Email Remover (Alternate), but it's not working. It's just not removing the duplicates it says it will. I tried deleting the Inbox files from my Profiles folder, and I tried rebuilding, and I tried increasing the connection timeout limit. Now, the Inbox just won't display any messages anymore. I tried deleting the whole folder for that email account, and the same problem. It just shows a perpetually moving, full blue progress bar, sometimes it says "opening inbox folder" for 10 minutes, and sometimes it says the connection timed out, or that Outlook returned Error 9. When it's trying to work, access Outlook's webmail fails, until I navigate to the webmail inbox again from within my browser. And the Error Console always shows three errors: Could not read chrome manifest 'file:///Applications/Thunderbird.app/Contents/MacOS/chrome.manifest'.; Could not read chrome manifest 'file:///Applications/Thunderbird.app/Contents/MacOS/extensions/%7B972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd%7D/chrome.manifest'.; and While creating services from category 'profile-after-change', could not create service for entry 'Disk Space Watcher Service', contract ID'@mozilla.org/toolkit/disk-space-watcher;1'; . The Sent folder with about 1300 emails seems to work, but sometimes it stalls when downloading all those emails, all the other folder seem to work, it's just Inbox that won't work. I also tried checking the server settings, my password, and I deleted that file to try to fix the first Error Console error. I just deleted Thunderbird and the Thunderbird/Mozilla folders from Library. And reinstalled Thunderbird. Now it's stuck at "Sending Login Information". I just installed the Windows 8.1 update on a formerly Windows 8.0 machine with SkyDrive Desktop Sync.  Unfortunately, despite setting all files to be available offline, I have found that files I save on my machine simply aren't being uploaded to the cloud.  Anyone have a fix for this issue?????


Also I can't over emphasis how dumb it is to not be able to see the status of individual files like in the previous Desktop client as it would make diagnosing an issue like this sooo much easier. 


Edit:  I have to take back part of the last sentence. It does appear to show the refresh icons. 

I successfully log in but within 3 seconds of my In box appearing the page fails and goes to questscan.com where it says, "The page you are looking for might have been removed or temporarily unvailable." Is anyone experiencing this? I've been using since we transitioned and I've never had this problem.

I have set up a custom domain on Outlook.com. The account has been verified, but when I set up mail boxes for the custom domain via domains.live.com, any emails get bounced.

 

Its a godaddy domain so I have copied the mx and txt settings into their setting area.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

One of the features that i use a lot is the file sharing feature in skydrive. I work mainly with groups and we share a lot of files between the group.

Before Windows 8.1 the skydrive app had a feature the see the files shared with me and the files i shared. I didn't need to use the skydrive in the web browser. But now with 8.1 the skydrive app lost this feature, leaving me with no other option that use the web browser.


Why did you remove this feature?


It’s coming in a future update?


Please include this.. I love skydrive, but the experience in the web browser it's different, i liked more the local app

I have been using Hotmail for years and with the transition over to Outlook, everything was working fine, until today.

 

I am missing all of the emails that were in my inbox from 04/29/13 through 10/15/13.

 

They were were last night, because I accessed them. This morning I logged on to send a response to one of the emails and they are gone.

 

If someone could please help me, I'd appreciate it.
