Can’t sign in to Outlook

I suddenly get this message when I try to sign in to Outlook. "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later." What caused this and what can I do? I already waited one hour and re-booted.

Delete Signature in hotmail

I am doing everything I am supposed to but hotmail will not allow me to delete the signature in my email. I can do it in each email I send but I want to remove it permanently from options. When I delete it from the signature and hit save it just comes right back again. Please help me, so frustrating.

How do I turn off skydrive syncing due to using Office 365 on multiple computers?

I have Office 365 on my work private computer and also on my work public computer.  My work public computer (at the front desk and used by my employees) has access to Skydrive through Word and Excel and I don't know how to stop it.  I do NOT have Skydrive installed on my work public computer.  But since Word and Excel is on my same Office 365 account, it is sharing the Skydrive files.  How do I make it not have access to my Skydrive files?

A decade of emails have disappeared!!! HELP!

Hi,

I've been using Outlook prior to the upgrade from Hotmail and everything was fine...until I logged into my emails tonight!

All of my folders are gone and my entire email history along with them!!!

It appears that this is a recurring problem according to the threads on this forum, however, (perhaps coincidentally) I recently removed my hotmail/outlook account from my work's computers (iMac/macbook), but at no point did I receive any waning that all of my emails would be deleted, which makes me think this is unrelated.

The missing emails contain information that I URGENTLY require.

Please can you look into this and advise of the necessary steps to retreive these emails and folders.

Hotmail blocking Gov emails at firewall level

Hi Microsoft,

 

We have determined that an auto generated email from https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov/IAWeb/login.do after sign up is being blocked to send to hotmail accounts. We have tested and it works fine with gmail, yahoo, etc, but hotmail appears to be blocking it. It does not even arrive in the junk folder so it seems to be at the firewall level.

 

I can provide the email that is used to send these, but do not want to post it for the public to see.

 

We also discovered that adding the email as a safe sender will allow the email through, however they cannot re-sign up with the same email to regenerate the email.

 

Please reply asap as to how we can proceed to unblock this issue where it is being blocked.

Preparing a video Takes Forever – Movie maker

My 8 minute video has been preparing itself for 30 mins and it's not even half way done. Why does it do this? I'm not using my computer to do anything else so it's not like my computer it working on something else at the same exact time. I don't know why it has to prepare a video. 

I used Movie Maker years ago and it never did this. Is there a reason?

Incoming mail to a hotmail account not received since Oct 16th.

No incoming mail is received, but mail can be sent.  No filters, forwarding or blocked senders. Sent Email to another Hotmail account OK but reply was not received. No error message received.

Suddenly yesterday my Windows Live Mail (WLM) system has frozen and keeps requesting my user name and password which i submit but it just keeps asking me again and again and yet i have been using WLM for many years without being asked for this info and have certainly not changed it??

This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language.

I guess 'security' is the word at fault.
