Incoming photos to windows live mail received from same people that have always sent have a pink rectangular box at top saying prohibited file. Message contains an attachment that may be dangerous File has been deactivated. Get help.

I'm attempting to make this work so that my Lumia 920 will be useful in syncing with my Yahoo calendar. I've tried variations. When I subscribe Outlook to my Yahoo calendar most (all but one) of my dates displayed without a "title" on Outlook. I've tried to share my Yahoo calendar with Outlook.com, but Yahoo doesn't like the ICS web address that Outlook supplies.
I really don't want to have to use Outlook.com exclusively as I've been using Yahoo for years. It's part of my AT&T landline and DSL package. The Lumia 920 Amber/GDR2 update doesn't really seem to openly support true CalDav/CardDav. The only synchronization seems to be with Google. I'm less concerned about the email feature. I just would prefer to have this work as it should. AT&T, Microsoft and Yahoo should play nice together and make this work.
Any suggestions?

Personally, I prefer the desktop client app, but it was uninstalled after the 8.1 upgrade. I tried to re-download and reinstall but all I get is "Skydrive is preparing files for first time use" then it never resumes. So I switched to the modern tile app
which is where I encountered the issue everyone seems to have.
After upgrading to win 8.1 I get the message
“Your SkyDrive couldn’t be created on this PC.”

I'm having multiple issues with my Outlook/Microsoft account:
- Some Outlook contacts are not syncing to the People app in Windows 8.1 Pro. What makes this more odd is that all the Outlook contacts sync properly to my HTC 8X (running GDR3)
- Security Info allows me to set a phone numbers. Security notification via SMS never arrive. However, security notification via voice do work (I would prefer SMS).
- Missing contact from LinkedIn on Outlook.com, People app in Win 8.1 Pro and People Hub on 8X. Contact exists in LinkedIn and properly syncs/merges on other platforms (eg BB10 & Android).
- Archive mailbox doesn't sync via IMAP.
Originally I thought these issues may have been caused by cruft. So, before installing 8.1 I did the following, based on recommendation I read in other places on these message boards:
- Removed all linked accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) from my Microsoft Account and 8X.
- Performed a Factory Reset on the 8X.
- Performed a wipe and clean install of Win 8 (without restoring settings) before upgrading to 8.1.
All problems and issues persist, which leads me to wonder if there's something wrong with my account. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

In Windows 8, I always copied files to my SkyDrive folder to upload them to SkyDrive. This feature seems to be non-existent now. I can copy all I want to the SkyDrive folder, but nothing uploads.
Has this feature been removed or is something just very, very broken?

Say my Microsoft account is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. My email with custom domain mydomain.com is currently hosted by Google Apps. I want to move my email hosting from Google Apps to Live Admin Center.
Now, say I have another Microsoft account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** that I will use for Live Admin Center. If I now setup mydomain.com in Live Admin Center, can I migrate the existing *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as an email account within the Live Admin Center mydomain.com account?
i am using outlook 2007. after i enter password on login screen, the website address line flashes between bay177.mail.live.com and login.live.com and outlook will not open. i can access my account from other computers.
