Why does the text options get greyed out, using Windows Live 2012, with new (outgoing) e-mail. Such options as BOLD, Italic
font size, etc.............

We use skydrive to keep our 3 laptops in sync. One laptop will not sync. I have deleted and reinstalled skydrive. That did not work.
When you hover the mouse over the skydrive icon it says, simply, "scanning files".

I cannot add my personal email accounts to Outlook.com. I had added them previously, then deleted. Now I am trying to go back and add them but I am getting various errors, depending on where I look. On the my "Your email accounts" page it is saying "This
account cannot currently receive email. Click Details for more info." When I click details it says:You can send email from this account. 12:47 PM We couldn't get your messages: There was a problem connecting to the other server. If you've been seeing this message for a while, consider checking your account settings or contacting your other email service.
When I click on edit I get this error "We're sorry, but we are upgrading our system and you cannot add or edit your account. Please try again in a few hours." I have gotten these same errors for three days. I have confirmed with Time Warner Cable (twc.com) what my email settings are (i.e. server addressese, ports, no secure connection needed, etc.).
Originally microsoft locked my account for security reasons, I was asked to fill out a security form, which since I don't really send emails from this account, I couldn't fill out enough information and it was denied. When I tryed to get help over the
phone they started a case report which told me to reset my password, which sent me to the same security form which i filled out earlier. Ive called microsoft many times and have gotten alot of different answers, from basically too bad, make a new account,
to this situation will be resolved in 48 hours. I finally got a person to send me here after 3 weeks of trying to recover this account. I need this account. I'm in the military and currently on leave and in order to contact my new command I need this account,
and in order to get hold of the property I had the military move for me, it has to be this account. I cannot lose this email account. please help
I have just turned my xbox on and it asks me for my email address and password, the only thing is, it doesn't seem to recognise it. So I enter different variations thinking it may be them but none work. So, I decided to try and just log onto my old hotmail
account yet it doesn't recognise my any of my passwords and it has now come up with a message saying that it looks like someone's been trying to hack my account. So, i go to reset my password but the only email address it'll send it to is the one I'm trying
to access! I have tried to fill out the form but because it's such an old account I can't remember and address that I've sent or any contacts on there. I did receive an email back but obviously I didn't provide enough information. I really need to sign back
into my xbox account to go back online! Funny thing is, when it was hotmail I had my main account and this one linked and I could switch between them easily.

i,ve forgotten the password to one of my hotmail accounts. i also have no idea as to the answer of my security question as i`ve had the account for over ten years and cant remember the answer.
i.ve tried the questionnairre on password reset but am unable to give enough info apparently.
tried the live help but they just sent me a link which i needed to sign in using my password (which i dont know)
phoned customer service which just sends you back here?
can anyone help ?

Like others I have found that all my old emails and folders have gone since being forced on to Outlook from Hotmail.
I use Microsoft Outlook (see 3 below) as my main client and have recently set up in hotmail to forward messages.
My old emails and messages were always there even when I set up forwarding but since Hotmail changed to Outlook all messages and folders have gone.
3.You are using an e-mail client or a third party spam filtering software to access your account.
This often happens when using the Pop3 protocol to retrieve your mail and the option “Always leave a copy of the message on the server” is not selected.
Can I get them back?
when I installed my new pc I made a typing error in my email address and now it keeps trying to sign me in to outlook with the wrong letter in my email address how do I get to change the letter that is wrong
