I GET THE ERROR MESSAGE: "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook at the moment" FOR HOURS AT A TIME SEVERAL TIMES A DAY EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS. I REPORT IT EACH TIME THOUGH YOUR USELESS AUTOMATED REPORTING SYSTEM. THE PROBLEM HAS NEVER BEEN ADDRESSED. I AM BEYOND LIVID. FIX YOUR PRODUCT. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN A GENERIC REPLY THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN OTHER USERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE OVER THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS. I WANT YOU TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AND KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS INFORMED. WHERE IS YOUR HELPLINE WHERE I CAN ACTUALLY SPEAK TO A PERSON. I SHOULD NOT BE FORCED TO POST A MESSAGE ON A USELESS FORUM.
I am able to send email but have not received any email since early this AM.

I am trying to setup email server settings in one of my websites and I have to manually enter the encryption type, host and port for outlook.com since the Windows Live/Hotmail server settings are not working.  Could you please provide me with encryption type, host and port?

Thanks!

I bought a smartphone a year ago so that I could check emails when I am working. Unless this is just a problem today that will work itself out, I just discovered that when I downloaded emails to my android smartphone from my hotmail/outlook account, those emails did not download when I got home to replicated on my installed outlook account on my windows 7 laptop. I dont respond to emails from the smartphone but will get to them when I get home. I fired up my laptop to respond to an email that i saw on the smartphone and that email did not download to the laptop. None of the other emails that downloaded today to the smartphone showed up either. I checked the delete folder and they were not there. I then went online and checked out my outlook.com/hotmail account and all the emails were there. I clicked on the email that I was responding to and then went back to the inbox. I then clicked on outlook send/receive and the email showed up. I did that multiple times on other emails that had not replicated and they all showed up upon clicking send/receive I gather because they had changed status to read from unread. Now I am wondering if over the past year there were a lot of emails that havent shown up on my laptop due to downloading to my smartphone. If outlook.com is designed to only download to one machine and not any that ask to replicate this is a major problem. I cannot have a situation where anything that downloads to my smartphone wont show up on the laptop since I only respond to emails from the laptop. I am hoping that this isnt a problem and that the emails would show up later once the server and my laptop outlook can sync up better. If this is how it is going to be, then I cannot allow my smartphone to ever download emails from hotmail/outlook,

Our small business uses our ISP as our email provider in stead of an exchange server.

I'm having problems with a users POP3 email not receiving properly in Outlook 2010.

The last message being received, regardless of the number of messages being received, always hangs and occasionally the message of...

"

Task '(I'm_Omitting_the_UserName)@(&_I'm_Omitting_the_Domain).com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CC0B) : 'Unknown Error 0x800CC0B

"

There are no problem sending emails.

From what I've gathered from reading elsewhere the 0x800CC0B code indicates a busy server.  However, no other user on the domain is having the same issue.

I've verified the users settings on our ISP's website and I've checked the users incoming and outgoing port and POP3 address settings also, all of which are correct as well and all of which match other users who are not having any receiving problems.

I suspect the issue is directly related to the users Outlook.

Any suggestions or thoughts on how to fix the receiving issue?

The only things I haven't tried are deleting the users mailbox and resetting it up from scratch, taking a repair option on her Office 2010 installation, and reinstalling Office 2010 in its entirety.  As those options are all time consuming and risk creating other problems (i.e. installation removal or re-installation errors, lost emails, future and worse Outlook connectivity issues, etc.) I have not tried those options.

I so hope Microsoft creates a glitch free version of Outlook one day as I've never had a good experience with any version of Outlook   :(

This happened about a week or two ago. I have a certain sender from one domain that I used get emails from with no issue. Then all of sudden this one sender does not appear on my phone if they send a new email, if they respond to one or they do a reply all I will get it on my phone. Anyone else from this same domain I get with no issues. I checked my phone and there are no rules on it or my desktop Outlook.

Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4
Email is an old MSN account pulling email to phone by exchange active sync

Any thoughts or suggestion would be great.

Please remove the "Deleted" as that doesn't show up in other apps/iOS. But "Trash" does. So, I have two trash folders. I can't delete "Deleted".

Hello

We have setup our domain name at outlook domains as we have done other domains yet the status went to 'Pending Changes' and amber for a month.  I deleted the account, reset it up, and then put all the MX records back in from scratch and exactly the same thing has happened.  It's now been another month in 'Pending Changes' status and we need it working for next week.

The domain name is www.passportproven.com

Can you assist as soon as possible?

Thank you
I finally made the once inconceivable jump from GMail to Outlook. So far I've been recommending it to everyone. There's one issue that will probably send me back to Gmail. I have setup several SMTP emails to send and receive from.

BUT, everytime I send "From" an SMTP address, there's a "Reply-To" in the email that makes responses come back to the outlook email or an alternate. I dont want that. I want the response/"Reply-To" to come back to the same "From" email.

Example:

outlook email is: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
smtp emails:  *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

When I send an email from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, I want the response to come back to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Pleas do not suggest that I make "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" the reply to address because then it won't work when I use the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** SMTP email.

This seems like an ill-though requirement to force a reply to. It needs a "Use the From Address" as an additional option.

I try to log in to log into my accounts with my correct password but just kept getting incorrect password, when trying to reset can't get into any of my accounts to recieve e-mails and have tried the text option also to no avail.
