Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail.co account.

Server Error: 3219
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

I do not understand why there isn't a simple update or patch to solve issues like this.

I have tried on a number of occasions to fins solutions for server errors and other glitches in windows programs but when I find the answer it usually intails a string of instructions that take me into unknown realms of my computer and computer terminology, and 'click on' and etc. instructions that leave me unable to solve the issue.

As I said above why do you not make a simple update to solve all known issues and create new updates for issues as they arise.

I really need to fix this issue as Hotmail is my primary email address.

Please help?

Split from this thread.

Below are the steps on how to uninstall Windows Live Essentials via CMD line parameter.

a. Go to Start ->All Programs ->Accessories

b. Right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator

c. Run the following commands to uninstall Windows Live Essentials:

· (64 bit) "c:\program files (x86)\windows live\installer\wlarp.exe" /cleanup:all /q

· (32 bit) "c:\program files\windows live\installer\wlarp.exe" /cleanup:all /q

d. A dialog box shows status until uninstallation has completed

I've seen a few people with this problem, but no answers:

When I type the command prompt, I get the message "The system cannot find the path specified."

I've been trying for months to uninstall these programs so I can reinstall Movie Maker. I currently have Photo Gallery but cannot find a way to uninstall it. Windows Live Essentials doesn't appear in the programs to uninstall via Control Panel.

This problem originated when I deleted all files associated with Movie Maker, and my computer deleted them permanently without sending them to the recycle bin. I'd appreciate some help with this.

Hi

Can anyone help with restoring even part of this video... I believe it stems from using a png file in movie maker. Here is the notebook file as you can see the png caused the problem <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <Project name="Movie for Jerry" themeId="0" version="65540" templateID="SimpleProjectTemplate">   <MediaItems>     <MediaItem id="53" filePath="C:\Users\holly\Desktop\VIDEO photos\Maritime Museum of the Atlantic\DSC_0949.JPG" arWidth="4000" arHeight="6016" duration="0" songTitle="" songArtist="" songAlbum="" songCopyrightUrl="" songArtistUrl="" songAudioFileUrl="" stabilizationMode="0" mediaItemType="2" /

Is there a 64-bit version of Live Mail for 64-bit Windows 7?  The answer I get in a Google search is "Microsoft Live Mail 64-bit Windows 7", which is ambiguous.  If so, how do I find it?  Thanks.

No matter how I load or open my movie, I always get an empty movie with the "click to add media" box. I saved multiple times prior to closing the program, and all of my work is gone for seemingly no reason. I transported the .wlmp file through a flash drive, and as soon as I plugged it in to my home computer and opened it, I could find no way to open what I actually had made. I searched all over the internet and could find no solution.

Did a windows update nothing happened. I don't want to reconfigure my email afraid of loosing anything or any contacts. I can open my email via verizon since that is the carrier of the email.

I have got the message 'Windows Live Mail is synchronising this account. Check again in a few minutes to read your messages.' However, I have had this message for over a week & I have been using web-based email (which I hate with a passion) since then. Can anyone help?

Changed my Windows Live Mail settings from POP3 to IMAP but after doing so every time I open up my email I get the follwing error message: The Server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified. The Certificate's CN name does not match the passed value. I have Comcast as my provider, I called them but they told me the problem is with the Live Mail program.

Searched all day for solution bu so far have not found any answers
