If you weren't aware, Microsoft is dropping support for Movie Maker 2012 as of January 10, 2017. While the programs will continue to run on systems where Windows Essentials is already installed, it's unlikely you'll be able to reinstall the programs if you are having issues. Obviously no further updates will be forthcoming (even if security issues or defects are found).
Before the deadline, you should definitely save a copy of the offline installer for your language just in case you need to reinstall Windows Essentials.

Microsoft has given the vague statement that Movie Maker will soon be available from Windows Store for Windows 10 users. But so far I've not seen any actual announcement of what that may be. So far I've only seen less powerful apps like Movie Moments in the store without any viable replacement.
If any of the Support Engineers in these forums can escalate this question, we'd all like to know specifics on what that replacement will be and when it will be available. Please reply before the deadline.
In Windows Live Mail, in my contacts, I somehow have 283 contacts just named 'Q', all of whom are identical and contain no other information other than the name 'Q'.
When I try to delete them, the option to delete is grayed out.
On further investigation, they appear under the "social networks" category, which is presumably why they are greyed out.
However I have no idea which social networks I am actually linked to or how they came to be originally created. I checked Skype and Facebook and neither of them contain any contacts just named 'Q', however I can't even see any indication of which social networks are linked to my contacts, so it's hard for me to know where to check

at the past the movie maker remembered the location of the movie when i pressed on fix item.
now it just taking me to the pictures location on windows 7 pro
how can i return it to work and why i always need to fix items even if i've already saveded the project and reopen it?
Can bring up Photo Gallery for approx 10 seconds before I get "Photo Gallery has stopped working". Happens every time without fail. Tried it while to commected to the internet as well as stand-alone. No difference. Have about 500 photos loaded. Any ideas?
