Exactly same problem for me too today. Receiving OK but can't send from my ISP address via Windows Live Mail, though can send OK from ISP's email platform. Came here to support site to look for some help with this, but it seems other folks having the same problem with windows live mail with no solutions offered.

I just get this error message every time ............

X Send 1 message(s) using [email address] - Status Failed

I am unable to send emails via windows live but can receive them have checked that everything is correct to receive but it keeps coming up with error cant find server my provider says its not them but my windows live account

I just set up WLM and thought it was working.  But found cannot send.  I get the following message:

The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email [SMTP] server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***', please contact your email service provider.

I tried going to tools in hopes I could check settings but all it did was try to receive/send.Have one waiting to be sent now.

I continue to get an error message in Live Mail that states "there was an error in attempting to connect to Windows Calendar". This is quite annoying.

In Windows Live Mail what is the difference between "Add sender to blocked sender list" and "Add sender's domain to blocked sender list" and which will work to keep all that spam from my Junk Mail Box once tagged?

Windows Live Mail - ugh

Have two or three gmail accounts but one of them is also accessible on another computer.  Had to change the password on that computer (Apple not Microsoft) for the gmail and now on my Live Mail it keeps asking for the Password.  I put it in and it keeps rejecting it.  It is the correct password because I can access the account on Google Mail Web using that password.  Tried retyping everything in again but no.  Tried changing IMAP to POP but no.  Changed settings at Google to enable both IMAP and POP (the other two emails use IMAP and work well)   The error message is 0x800ccc0f

Has anyone any suggestions?

i used to have MSN messenger long time ago.

now all my contacts are still in the account. I want to delete them, without installing WLM. Is there any way? I cant delete them in outlook.com.

all these contacts keep saying "messenger".

I don't have Windows Essential.  Where can I get a clean version of Windows Live Mail for my Windows 10 machine?  I'm concerned about downloading the program from Goggle.

Cortana has disappeared.  I guess I'm the cause of the disappearance.  I have no idea of how to get it back.  I use it almost every time I'm on the computer and that is every day. Please help me to get it back.
