Then I try to reinstall windows defender or windows essentials, it does the same thing, it just says "installing" and goes on for days with NO error codes or anything....what am I doing wrong.

Is it possible for a second individual to be able to access emails on an existing account but only as Read Only - so that they can only read it, but not delete, respond or move it to other folders?

This access will be on a separate device.

Options for Windows Mail or Outlook appreciated.

I have the following code:

    memset(&sei, 0, sizeof(sei));
    sei.lpVerb = L"runas";
    sei.cbSize = sizeof(sei);
    sei.lpFile = L"C:\\windows\\system32\\osk.exe";
    sei.lpParameters = L"";
    sei.nShow = SW_SHOW;
    sei.fMask = SEE_MASK_NOCLOSEPROCESS;

    HANDLE hProcess = ShellExecuteEx(&sei) ? sei.hProcess : 0;

the problem is that hProcess has a process handle which is different from actual on-screen keyboard process. How can I get the right one?

I have recently changed from using a POP3 account o an IMAP account to enable me to see my emails both from my cell phone and from my desktop PC.

I need to keep the old POP3 account for historical purposes.

90%+ of the time when I send an email it will be stored correctly in the IMAP sent items folder. Occasionally however it is stored in the old POP3 sent items folder (with no copy in the corresponding IMAP folder).

How can I prevent this happening?

Thank you

I am using Windows 10, Windows Live Mail, and MS Excell as my database.

I am attempting a mail merge which is a relatively simple process.

I have numerous email addresses, so rather than send something odd to my clients, I send emails to myself as a test. Each client will eventually receive a brochure.

I finish and go "Finish Mail Merge" but nothing happens. I receive no emails at all. Windows Live is my default email client.

I have talked to numerous people re the problem and still come up with nothing.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

186000mps.

I am trying to save the enhancements to pictures that Photo Gallery has. I open the picture, select edit, enhance your photo, then save and/or save a copy. But none of the enhancements actually save. As soon as I open the picture again the enhancements are gone and the picture is back in its original form. My pictures are from my camera and saved as jpegs in the pictures folder on my computer. I am using Windows 10. I get no error messages. Nothing I try seems to save the enhancements. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.
