I have the same problem, except I have in excess of 700 contacts with just the letter Q. At the same time, my contact groups are acting strangely. Beside the group name is the number of contacts in the group, but many of my groups show a number greater than the actual entries. For instance in one group that has only 14 contacts, the number beside the group name says 19. In one empty group, it says there are 3 contacts.
2 of the 'Q' entries are clearly from Skype. But in my Skype account I have no entries at all.
Tried to unlink my Skype account, but Microsoft comes up with a page that says 'Due to ongoing changes, linking and unlinking accounts is unavailable.' ??? Is Microsoft trying to force us to quit using WLM? They have already stopped supporting the Outlook calendar.
Its disappointing.

To try to fix a misbehaving Windows 8 PC, I performed the 'Keep My Files' recovery option that removes certain apps. The recovery took away Windows Live Mail and several thousand emails with it. After the reboot, I discovered that my File History back-ups had not stored the emails, and I can no longer reinstall Windows Live Mail to try to find them because WLM is no longer supported by, or downloadable from, Microsoft.
My question is, with the Windows Live Mail program itself seemingly gone forever from my hard drive, have I also lost all the emails that were contained within in? I have seen plenty of solutions for recovering lost/deleted emails and their storage folders, but they only work if you're able to open Windows Live Mail.
Any and all help appreciated!

storage folders missing after reinstalling Win 7 and Live Mail
I have followed the steps and located storage folders but all that is there are the sent, junk, deleted and outbox folders, not the personalized ones I had created. I did a system restore from a week ago.
My calendar in windows live mail is empty no entries at all this or last year. How to I get it back or find it?
I wasn't able to download essentials 2012 before January 2017. Are there any good free video editors that you would suggest?
