So I recently bought a new computer replacing an 8 yr old machine.
For a few years I have used (and liked) Windows Live Mail. Change is in the air apparently and the new machine seems to want me to use Mail.
I don't mind change....but I am having a hard time figuring out the ins and outs of it. The thing that is giving me the most pain is the contacts part of it. If an email comes in..and I want to save the contact...I cant seem to be able to do that anymore (just one annoyance)
Contacts in general seem to be more of a pain. Are all contacts now stored in the "People" app?
Mail seems now very basic...which again, is fine........but I am just confused how the "people" app integrates into Mail now.
Is there something I can read to clear this all up?

when trying to reply to, or write a new email, I get "A problem occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try again"
This error message appears constantly because I upload videos to YouTube!!!!!
(Error message: 0x8000FFFF).

The error messages keep returning. I kept opening & closing Movie Maker constantly because of this problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I wanted to know, I have created a video on windows movie maker, however I want to share that movie with others and I was trying to send it to them by email as well as have it on PowerPoint as well.
However it seems as if they cannot open the video once I have sent it to them.
Is it possible for someone to tell me how if possible I can share it with others through some kind of link such as url.
Is it possible to share it like that?
My windows live mail program will not send messages from my Hotmail account-I keep getting error message in lower right hand of screen, e..g. "there are 20 e-mails to send-do you want to send them now?" I click yes but they still do not get sent. Plus the program checks each of my contacts and sees if there are emails to be sent for that contact--take sforever and it still doesn't send them.
went to micro center and they set up the email yesterday, but it is not working. Perhaps you can give me the smtp ports for the program and I can verify them.
