Question about Outlook Express

I have just added my new outlook.com email address to Windows Live Mail.

For some reason the default setting on the inbox columns is "To" (not "From") and on the outbox is "From" (not "To"). So all emails sent by me or to me, do not show either the recepient or the sender. I have reconfigured the columns however they keep reverting back.

Anyone any thoughts how I can make the alteration permanent?

Hi,

After I reset my desktop I lost Windows Essentials. Is there any way to get an installer to install the stand alone version? I tried to download a version from blogs however, it does nothing after installation. I understand windows had ended the support on essentials however, I am trying to see if anyone can help.

I have just got a new computer with the newest version of windows 10, and it did not come with programs like movie maker. 

I want to download it, but it seems like windows have stopped supporting it. 

Is it possible to download it from somewhere? Or is it another program that is nearly the same as movie maker?

I have looked through the forums and couldn't find an answer to this issue specifically or through a google search. I use windows photo gallery to edit my photos and normally I select a photo and right click and choose open in photo gallery and it opens with no problem.....However today it showed me a screen asking me where I would like to save the file (when it should be opening in the editor).

I decided to try and go to the gallery itself and then open the file from there instead of file explorer and I got a different message saying the file or the file folder its in is hidden. So I went through all the properties of my files and folders in my computer making sure the "hide file" box and "read-only" box was unchecked. Still I can't pull it up.

It only shows two files under the photos folder and they are actually from my documents section, not in photos at all! So my last attempt to fix this problem was to try and delete all the folders from the gallery and then try and include them again to see if it would pop up and still not good.

I'm very frustrated at this point and need help! Below Ive attached some of the messages that pop up. One says it cant open a video file but i was searching for pictures

what is Microsoft's equivalent of iMovie for Windows 10?  If it is Movie Maker, where do you find it?

 When I "Sign in with a M/S a/c instead" and I enter my email address and password, I am then told to "enter my current Windows password one last time"

However each time I re-enter that password, it is rejected.

How do I avoid this rejection?

I've been using .WMV files for months with no problems.   I updated a graphics driver (only thing that has changed since last attempt) and now WMM no longer recognizes any .wmv file and I cannot import them (circle with a line through it when I attempt to drag it in).   Tried rolling back the driver, that just caused WMM to instantly crash before doing anything else, so I updated the driver again as at least I can open the program.   When I use the manual import, it puts a blank seven second clip there.

Any ideas as to what's going on?

Can I add multiple names from my contacts to my safe senders list or do I have to do it individually?
