Question about Outlook Express

Hello all,

I have 3 issues creating a video with Microsoft Movie Maker:

I am making a video that includes photos and video clips.  The video is approximately 30 mins long.  I am using movie maker version 2012 Build 16.4.3528.0331 running on Windows 10 PC.

Issues:

1. I have issues with the video clips that can be seen in the thumbnails not playing in the video; they show up black.  I remove them and reinsert them and they play successfully.
    
2. Then when I close movie maker and reopen it, some of the pictures that I inserted can’t be seen – they show up as a grayed out frame with a yellow triangle in the center.
3. I use the video stabilization option on a video I created, and after playing it I close the application.  The next time I load movie maker application, some of the video clips will play while some do not.  All are mp4 format.  Also, when I play the complete video, it skips including the music.

Can anyone provide help with these issues?

The same has occurred to me on a reboot on March 7.

I run Windows 7 Pro, have Windows Live Mail 2012

I receive emails fine. I just can not reply or open a new email to send without the error.

I researched and one fix was to defrag using the CMP file. DO NOT DO THAT!!!!

The program would not open at all after defrag at 100% giving the 0x800C0155.2 Error.

After 2 hours I found where I could go into Properties and connect using Windows XP/ Service Pack 3.

Now I have the program up and running again but when it opens it request that I allow Microsoft Essentials to run on my hard drive.

Hit yes and I have full functions except being able to send emails out like before.

I have tried by re-downloading Essentials.

I have tried to Repair.

Nothing works. This is so frustrating.

It is not ATT because I have NO problem on my Mac laptop which is my only way to send right now.

Need help!

I will be happy to assist you in resolving your issue with regard to being unable to open email messages in Windows Live Mail.

 

It is possible that Mail.MsMessageStore file was corrupted. Please follow the steps below on how to repair the file:

 

1. Restart the computer (this is to ensure that Live Mail is fully shut down, and that none of it's components are in use when the computer starts)

 

2. Click Start, type CMD but do not press enter

 

3. You will see cmd.exe in the search results, right click on it and select Run as Administrator - type your admin password if asked, and if UAC pops up asking permission, allow it

 

4. You should now see the command prompt, with the following displayed:

 

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]

 

Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

 

C:\Windows\system32>

 

5. Copy the following (press Ctrl+C):

 

esentutl.exe -d "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Mail.MSMessageStore"

 

Note: the "" are necessary

 

6. Right click in the command prompt Window, and select Paste, so you now see the following:

 

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]

 

Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

 

C:\Windows\system32>esentutl.exe -d "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Mail.MSMessageStore"

 

7. Press enter. esentutl will now defragment the Live Mail database file

 

8. Once done, you can close the command prompt, and restart the PC again

 

If the issue persists, please notify us.

I did exactly this and it defragged 100%. When I started with the error, all my emails were there, I just could not send an email. Now Windows Live Mail 2012 will not even open!

Windows Live Mail could not be started. The application was unable to open the WLM store. Your WLM mailbox data is currently being used by another program such as a virus scanner. 0x800C0155.2

I'm trying to take the audio only from a video clip and save it using Live Movie Maker. I've watched tons of tutorials on youtube and in every one...they open the video in Movie Maker, click the top left most tab, click SAVE MOVIE, click FOR COMPUTER, then scroll down until they see AUDIO ONLY and click that. Seems easy.

When I try the same thing, however, when I click SAVE MOVIE...there is no FOR COMPUTER or AUDIO ONLY options...Just ( High Def, 720, Standard, Protible Device, or For Emailing).

I am running Windows 10 (which sucks) and Live Movie Maker. Any help would be awesome.

I am working on a movie project: Originally 50 minutes reduced to 30 minutes in High Definition. I have now recurring problems in order to recover my registered project. WMM tells me that some video parts are "incompatible" and must be removed in order to be able to work on my project.

Interesting to notice is that the "corrupted videos" are not the same from one "unsuccessful recovery" to another.

I have added music to the project, I was even able to register a video that is readable.

I just need to make some final adjustment, but I cannot open my project any more. I am almost finished, just a few legends to add, and I am done.

Please help, I am frustrated.   Thank you
