Split from this thread.
1) Open the unlabeled menu In the upper left.
2) Select Options, then Mail.
3) Select the Connections tab.
4) Click on "Stop signing in".
Restart Windows Live Mail. Your contacts should be working now. If you messed it up in your attempts to solve this problem you may need to import your contacts from your last CSV backup.

In trying to send a scanned email it wouldn't go through my regular Windows Live mail program. I was prompted to add a Microsoft account. I did and I have no idea if the email went through and now all my emails are coming through this new account and I don't see any way to cancel it. I want the regular account as default! Help!!!
