Windows Live Mail FAQ
Hi, I'm running Windows 10 & haven't encountered this problem before. Every time I try to open any file besides a .wmv I get the message that movie maker has stopped working. I've tried to convert the files to .wmv but it takes a long time since the files are 2+ hours long.
ive tried to uninstall & reinstall with no avail. I really do need this application to upload speedpaints to my YouTube & keep my revenue flow constant.

There is no sharpness, contrast or colour setting in Microsoft Movie Maker I'm using at the moment.

i brougt a new handset MOTO M and i tried to open microsoft account with my email id in my handset and that was done sucessfully.after that i failed to log in with my password in to microsoft account through my handset.Now i reset the password through PC .my question is can i continue to use microsoft account on my handset or if not what i can do?????
Hi,
My Windows live mail opens incoming e-mail in about 1 minute from receiving them. I've turned this option off: Mark message read after displaying for second(s). This didn't solve the problem sadly. I've also turned off the preview pane mode but nothing changed either. Could someone provide me with any suggestions which I could try? Thanks in advance!

I accidentally deleted a WL Mail folder lets call it COMPANY folder, but I had backup. I used the IMPORT MAILS function selected the folder I deleted and Imported all messages. After restart the program the imported folder and files appeared but the emails body was missing. I checked physically on my drive the original COMPANY folder was there on the location but empty and a new COMPANY folder appeared under Imported mails(1)-storage folders-etc.etc. with all the 177 emails of that folder.
No idea if those filed phisically are there why WL Mail cant open the body?
The only solution I found was to copy phisically from the new COMPANY storage folder in my drive the mails to the old COMPANY folder and then open WL Mail. After this all the mails appeared as unread in the folder with all the body readable but the problem was that to each FROM field the program put an extra " or < character at the beginning which is really annoying.
Any solution?

Hi, I have noticed that Windows Live Mail including all other Windows Essentials applications have been removed from Microsoft's download site. I was really wanting to be able to access my email through a program from my desktop instead of an internet browser.
I'm hoping this is still possible to do. Thanks
While using my hotmail account, it quit working and wanted my login password. It did not accept the current password, and multiple attempts to reset and recover password were unsuccessful. I see something online about resetting IMAP, but the first step is to deactivate the old account. This isn't possible because I can't log onto the account. Have I been hacked or hijacked?? Any thoughts??
