Question about Outlook Express

OK - we all know that Microsoft is messing with Windows Live.  Recently they changed the IMAP server and never told us.

I was able to fix this by using jFiredog's instructions - thanks!

NOW though I am having trouble sending messages!  I know the receipient are valid!  I haven't changed anything in my contacts and use these address all the time!  The error below was a result of sending my daughter, a saved contact, as message.  I've tried for 2 days and NOPE can't send it via Windows Live 2012.  HOWEVER if I open Outlook I am able to send the same exact message to the same exact contact.

I've seen a few other posts with the same type of problem so it's not just me!

Anyone have any idea of what is now happening?

I made a mistake and lost part of Windows Live Mail.

I get this constantly.  It is an email that I don't even read and I don't want but I just want to delete it without reading it but this security alert won't go away.  Sometimes I have to shut down WLM.

Ever since I was "upgraded" to outlook I have had problems in WLM, lately I keep getting messages that WLM is not communicating with server. It says it cannot download messages yet it does download them in it's  own slow way, some messages I can't open  in WLM but I could open in outlook. I think I followed instructions to a tee to create my new account

 in WLM yet  it created 2 sent mail folders that I can't get rid of. Here is a sample of some of the messages I receive.

1) Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (.....) (1) account. Header
 download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete. Could not update cached message
flags with IMAP server.

2) Server Response: The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection
was terminated.

Protocol: IMAP
Port: 993

I have a HP Pavilion Notebook laptop also a HP mouse which I purchased three months

ago. I checked with device manager which showed that the mouse is working ok.

The problems I have is that the cursor is very erratic and when I type anything there is a delay in showing the text - also the mouse freezes
