Question about Outlook Express

I just want to go back and use Windows Live Email .... I now have a new Dell Windows 10 and use the comcast web for email and I do not like it..... I used Windows Live Email on my old windows 8 computer and want it again ... I get no where when I try to just download it....

For no reason could not receive or send E-Mails on my DELL Inspiron N5040 with Windows 10. Carried out instructions below and got the error message shown.

I can get my E-Mails on my phone so am very confused.

Server Response: -ERR internal server error

The problem is at the server, not in your computer.

That said, it could be that the server you're trying to connect to is being upgraded so that you'll have to use new settings to access it. You'll find the settings on this page: Email Centurytel.net ^ Software Windows Live 

Right-click on the account name in the folder pane and select Properties.

• On the Servers tab  
   
  • Change the incoming (POP3) server name to pop.centurytel.net 
     
  • Change the outgoing (SMTP) server name to smtpauth.centurytel.net 
     
  • Ensure that the Email username is your full email address 
     
  • Select Log on using clear text authentication 
     
  • Select My server requires authentication 
     
• On the Advanced tab  
   
  • Select This server requires a secure connection (SSL) for both incoming and outgoing mail. 
     
  • Change the server port for outgoing mail to 587 
     
  • Change the server port for incoming mail to 995 
     
• Click Apply and OK 
   

Remove any unsent messages from the outbox (below the account folders in the folder pane), then close down Windows Live Mail and wait a few minutes while the program does its housekeeping and stores the new security settings. Then re-launch the program, compose a new test message with a unique subject and send it to yourself. Post any new error message in your reply.

Hi Jordan.
Thank you for your reply on error not allowing me to publish to You Tube. I googled Error 0x80048008  and solved this issue by deleting file   'wlidcli.dll'.

I was able to publish to You Tube.  This one that was successful was photo clips with audio.

However I have a saved live video from I Phone 7+ on my computer and added this to movie maker. I had 3 videos I wanted to edit and put together. have also tried now with just two clips series instead of 3. 

I have checked my verified live account is ok and I purchased the full version of windows live movie maker.  I click on programmes and choose either one that does the same...closes down on me...  Movie Maker and Windows Movie Maker.  I did originally have the version that comes with Windows 10 that is still there and also the one that says NEW Windows Movie Maker that I have just purchased the full version of.  Prior to purchase the problem still occurred.

I use Google Chrome mainly and Microsoft Edge as I have Windows 10

If I open a project - a screen comes up to restore last one or close. Each time Movie maker stops working and closes.

If I start a fresh new video it works allowing me to add credits etc until I save it as project. Then when I try to open it again same thing happens. Windows Movie Maker closes down.

My file is about 98.9MB

I used Movie Maker 12 to trim the first 30 seconds from a 45 minute MP4 movie. The original and edited movie are HD 1080. The original file was 800 Mb and the edited file is 2.7 Gb. The file size always increases after edits of MP4, WMV, and FLV files when saving in the same resolution as the original. Why does the file size increase? and how can I prevent this happening?

For information, I have used Avidemux to perform the same operation and the file size becomes slightly smaller which is good but it isn't as accurate as Movie Maker when selecting the actual start and end points of the trim.

Any help on this subject will be very  welcome.

Receiving PDF's on Outlook but not on Windows Live Mail (8.1) with Spectrum.  Can anyone explain?
