Windows Mail won’t open

Hi guys,
 
Please can you help with an issue I have....
 
My Windows Mail would normally open up fine with no issues at all but recently, over the last couple of days, I dont know whether due to a Windows Update, it wont load
Basically what it will do is start to load, then the screen will go black and my mouse cursor will flicker on the screen
I've tried deleting/reinstalling the display driver which didnt work - also tried updating this but it says I've got the latest driver
A system restore didnt work either! Maybe should I delete the Windows Update? 

For whatever reason, I cant view the 'Windows Essentials' in my add/remove programs so I cant delete/re-download the mail application

Windows Photo Gallery for Windows 10

You seem to have stopped updates for the above.  My package is showing encrypted.  Which package do we use now for our photos.  My documents seem to be going into Photo Gallery and show PDF. I only want something that is simple to work with. My documents were always separate.  So what is happening and how to rectify this problem.  Many thanks  Barbara May

Windows Hello Setup

I was constantly using Windows hello fingerprint,just after resuming my Laptop from sleep ,my biometric stopped working.

I had to log in using my PIN.Since than my fingerprint does not work ,the light in the biometric doesn't even blink.Even if try to remove/add another fingerprint ,the windows hello setup flahes for a few seconds and than disappers.

why not Microsoft Movie Maker 2.6 on windows 10

Microsoft Movie Maker 2.6 is still my favorite movie make but it doesn't seem to work on Windows 10. The new Movie Maker doesn't have all the great features that I need to use on a daily basis. Is there any way to adapt Movie Maker 2.6 so it runs on Windows 10?

Ever since Microsoft announced termination of support for Windows Live (Essentials) Mail 2012, the program randomly removes contacts from my group emails. Is this Microsoft's way of forcing people to stop using Live Mail?

hello Community,

I have a feeling that WMM (not live version) may  -   (as one member put it - everything has its time )     needs to be replaced for me.    I have been loving it for many years    -  overcoming the many problems it seems to produce.

However this time I am really stuck (blank screen importing videos )  and I am wondering if any other members have tried alternative video editing programs.

  I note there are many, so expect everyone DOES have a favourite,    but hoping a few suggestions would be a helpful start.    

My concerns are;-    ease of use,    and I guess this means fewer features

                                 ability to fade the sound,   (wmm doesn't really do this)

                                 output to DVD

                                 text on pictures and credits

                                 chopping up any video imports

                                 conversion from .mov software included

                                 suitable with windows 10
