When computer updates Windows 8.1 it says cannot complete updates and undoing changes. Where do I go to fix this. A friend did it for me weeks ago and it worked but now back to the same issue. I cannot contact him to find out how to fix it again

When I opened windows Mail this morning I had messages in the outbox and this window popped up
"An unknown error has occurred.

I was asleep all night ----what happened???? This has happened before and I am very frustrated that it keeps happening. Now what?????? This a desktop computer.
All of my settings are correct and nothing has changed since my last email went out and came in. I even went through the whole process of re-filling the information and turned the computer off and back on again. Still nothing.

My outgoing mail often ends up in the recipients junk box.

I can happily edit and compress normal videos in MS movie Maker
However, I have started to use my Samsung 5 phone to shoot video in portrait orientation
When I play them back in VLC, they look great
However, when I try and edit them in MS Movie Maker, it doesn't recognise that they are portrait and fits them into a landscape frame with black margins on each side
Is MS Movie Maker capable of editing video shot in portrait as a portrait video file - and, if so, how?
Or does it ALWAYS convert to landscape?

For some reason when I try to search for emails, it is now saying: 'Search results may be incomplete while Mail scans your messages.'
I have tried indexing WLM but this didn't solve the problem.
I am using WLM Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331)
Does anyone know how this can be resolved?

Issue not resolved. WLM kept crashing on me. Finally I installed WLM and let it download all e-mails, but even that then crashed. That computer is no longer accessible (needs a fix). I am back with my old computer and downloaded the new e-mails, so it has all e-mails and all searchable. Now how do I transfer that working WLM and folders of e-mails to my new computer?
Can I simply re-install WLM on my new computer, then replace the entire WLM folder with the WLM folder of my old computer?
This missing wldcore.dll keeps comes up on my Windows Live Mail 2012 and when I'm trying to print some information from the internet. I've tried 3 times to repair Windows Essentials 2012 ( which I assume is Windows Live Mail 2012) but the following keeps showing:
"Couldn't repair Family Safety, Mail, Messenger, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Writer
Unknown eror occurred - Error.0x800c0006 Source:crt90-i386"
I know that Windows Live Mail 2012 is not supported now and a similar question was asked on 14 August 2012 - is the answer to this question still good? I can (after a fashion) find my way around the internet but when it comes to solving problems and it's telling me to copy this then paste it but doesn't say where to paste it, then I'm lost. I really do like my Windows Live Mail 2012 so can anybody help me with the missing wldcore.dll?
