Why are major software giants phasing out popular software programs like those in Windows Essentials, namely Photo Gallery and Movie Maker? The excuse offered is that they have ended their life cycle, apparently meaning they've had it for a period of time that was predetermined at the beginning. I bought a new computer with Windows 10, expecting to just transfer everything over from my old computer. These applications were stripped out of the OS. Not a happy experience. Is it really just time that's important? Microsoft, why do you not consider the popularity of a program or app before doing away with it? Yes, other software providers also do the same thing (consider Picasa from Google). New programs that don't offer the same ease of use or functionality can really be a pain.
If a popular program is phased out, it should have a fully functional replacement, so people with hundreds or thousands of hours of work saved, will still be able to access their work and not lose any functionality.

I have used Windows Live Mail for 5 years. Have Windows 10 installed last year . Suddenly could not send outgoing emails. The server error is 550, the server response is 550.5.7.1, the error code is 0x800CCC79 and the message is " Relaying denied - you must check for new email before sending mail"
Any suggestions?

When I open Windows Live Mail, the new mail does not download... the green path stops before it reaches the full panel... then I get an error code: 0x800ce0/03f4c48c-eb63-4de7-9cab-01e52f04ec54
Then it asks me if I want to use my default account, "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***"... I say "yes" and nothing happens.
I've been working with my bajabb. server and they tell me this is an issue with Microsoft Live Mail... because the settings are not correct... she gave me the setting baja has for our accounts, but they do not work....I am also working with US Tech Support and they can't do anything because when they look at my settings, they tell me the settings that baja gave me are wrong.... and without the proper settings, they cannot help me.
I've been working on this issue for 2 weeks.... please look carefully and provide the correct answers.
