Question about Outlook Express

My old ost files migrated from my Windows 7 PC - Windows Live Mail or Windows Mail - are still lying in my back up directory and I now want to import the files to a suitable Mail Client software in Windows 10.
Windows Live Mail or Windows Mail are no longer available in Windows 10.

How can I import these OST files - and not PST files - into Windows 10 Mail?

Or can I only import them into Outlook?

I just completed a PC refresh and reinstalled Window 8.1 and Office Home & Student 2013.   I no longer have Windows Live email and therefore can not retrieve my emails that were move to sub-folders.  I can go to Yahoo email and view "inbox, sent, draft, deleted" but I can not view my sub-folders.  I have an email file folder on my desktop that perhaps has all of my emails stored, but again I can't view these.   I realize micro soft no longer supports Windows Live email, but can anyone help me reinstall so I can at least retrieve my emails?  I am considering purchasing "outlook 2016" through Office 365 but I don't want to do that until I know I can retrieve my lost emails.

Hi , 

I keep receiving email of "undelivered mail return to sender", guess it's spam, how should I stop them? 

And I could not open the "Property" in my email, I did not uninstall the windows live mail because I could not remember my password.

I have used windows live photo gallery for a number of years, tagging, commenting and organizing my photos.  I want to continue on my new computer however the download is no longer available and it is no longer supported.  I am extremely disappointed because I have spent countless hours tagging and commenting on my photos.  Does anyone know:

1. How to download it to my new computer or get it from my previous computer?

or

2.  The best alternative to tag, comment, organize, etc.?  Another program would need to be able to see and use the tags I placed on windows live photo gallery.  

It is the tagging and commenting that I need.

The problem is that they don't continue to work.  Photo Gallery no longer supports geotagging.  The only geotags you can use are ones that are already in your database.  The big problem here is that the geotags and people tags in the thousands of pictures I've already worked on don't port over to other programs (unless someone knows where that information is stored and can point me in the right direction).
