I am having some issues using Movie Maker on Windows 7.
I would like to add two effects to my video: fade in and fade out. But when I add the fade out, it cancels the fade in, and vice-versa...
What should I do to keep both?

... I wish to know what terms like Wi-Fi , the cloud, and lots and lots more., mean. Is Wi-Fi synonymous with "internet"? There are things like blue-ray, blue tooth. I can't figure which HDMI port in the back of the tv to connect the HDMI cable. There
are three openings. So I can't connect my new dvd player until I know what I am doing. And Netflix talks about Blue-Ray... I'm left in the lurch. This is a tiny scrape off the tip of the iceberg that begins to list what is "geek" to me. (be gentle)
Hi. When I try to Edit pictures-on the right side, slide bars appear saying Highlight, Contrast, Shadow, etc. I don't know why, but I clicked on the little
x just above that on the right. It took them away. Now, I don't know how to get them back. I tried many things in the information bar above but nothing helped. Please help. THANKS Lisa

I spent many hours adding and editing videos, photos and audio for my home movie. I saved the project regularly and, when completed, saved the movie on an external hard drive in the high definition aspect. After watching the movie, I realized I wanted
to make a few more edits. I called up my saved project in Windows Live Movie Maker only to find most of it had disappeared, so to speak. Each video and photo is grey. Each song is listed with but no sound is heard. All titles show up on the edit board
but not when previewing. The original files have not been moved from their location. No yellow triangle is shown. I thought I would try to update Windows Live Movie Maker but read on another post that is not possible as it is embedded within Live Essentials.
I thought I would try to download a K-lite Codec to try to solve the issue, as suggested in another post on Microsoft, however, it was for Windows 7 only. Thank you for your time!
I am running Windows Live Mail 2012 and have run into a recent problem. Seems the program took one contact from my address book and started duplicating it over and over again. I normally have about 300 contacts. All of a sudden I had over 30,000 contacts,
all duplicates except for the original 300. Needless to say, this huge amount of contacts brought the WLM performance to its knees. I deleted all the duplicates, keeping that one name in there, and repaired WLM via the control panel program option. It
returned with a vengence. I then deleted all the duplicates contacts and also eliminated the initial contact from which I assumed it spread. Then, I "repaired" WLM again. Its still finding that one totally deleted contact and replicating it every day. I've
learned to anticipate this and just about every day I delete several hundred of these at a time. Anyone have a fix for this?

Due to my travel plan overseas, I've decided to bring my old laptop with Window 7 professional. But It doesn't have any additional language feature. Could I add a language to it?
Windows live mail needs to be removed and added back so that Spectrum Roadrunner email can synch. I can access by webmail but the LiveMail has not synched since 8/30/17

just noticed my laptop has WLM 17.8400.41195 while my desktop has 17.6568.46361.0. How do I upgrade my desktop? I can't find it.
I have purchased today for £24.51 the full version of Windows movie maker and entered the given registration code to up grade and burn video DVD etc and nothing new has happened, I can only do what I did before and reach the stage after editing film from my camera, It will not let me sign in either ?
