Question about Outlook Express

I'm with talk talk and using Windows Live Mail I am getting this message

I had to re-install windows 10. Lost Windows Live mail and all emails

I get this message each time I try to send an email: "Unable to send or receive messages for the hotmail account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***"  Server Error 404, Windows Live Mail Error ID - 0x80194194.

Please help!

Discovered my outbox, filled with emails when AOL required me to sign in again after updatining password.

Now it is not in the left column.  Have looked through trouble shooting but nothing to help/that helped.

I have the USB drives installed for my PRIV on my Windows 10 PC but cannot effect contact with files on the phone or transfer files (pictures) from the phone via this connection which seems virtually useless.  What am I missing?

I am running Windows Live Mail 2012 on Windows 7.  Multiple reinstalls of Windows 7 created a hodgepodge of imported folders in the live mail stored messages.  In some folders, multiple unique messages show one message's identical content.  

I have "successfully" repaired Live Essentials.  When I try to force reindexing, I get an error message "folder is in use in another program."  When I tried to make a backup copy of the Live Mail storage folder, I got several "EDB in use" errors.  

From other message board discussions, I know I may have to manually sort the stored messages.  But, seems like I need to get the indexing to work before I take that task on. 

And, so far I cannot.

I noticed today that my main email address for this account is a closed address. This would explain why , on the rare occasions I use live mail. I never receive any answers

How do I change this address. Please give simple , straightforward steps to do this
