Question about Outlook Express

I have Windows 7 Premium

I had to re-install repair disk and start as new

I got every thing working O.K.....................But, as before, my Windows live mail I is not working

Error 404

0X80194194 and I can't downloads this file

Problem is when I'm in the internet and want to email something from any page the email posted is "windows life email" not  Hotmail

I  does not work I can't send or receive from Windows live mail at all.

Why does my calendar heading start on Tuesday and is there a SIMPLE way to change it to sunday? 

I have been using Windows Live Mail for years, currently with Windows 7.

Occasionally, and more frequently of late, the program hangs on the "authorisation" cycle 

and will not download mail.

After about 60 seconds it says "the POP3 server has not responded, do you wish to wait another 60 seconds" closely followed by another pop up box saying "please enter your name and password for mail.btinternet.com"

It makes no difference if I take the remembered password or overtype the password then enter.   After answering both (in either sequence) the program waits another 60 seconds then does the same.

I have re-opened the program, re-booted the PC, re-booted the modem, all seem to have no consistent effect.

On trying it later, perhaps later the same day or next morning, Windows live mail works and the backlog of emails arrive on my PC.

I have checked using web mail on the BT site and seen them waiting there.  I have also checked the BT password on the web mail system so I know that is correct.

Anyone any ideas ?

Split from this thread.

I pressed windows key + R to open a run box,  and typed   wimail and entered.    Brought me to my email program  but my contact list is still missing.      This happened before.   And I searched and searched and finally found    somewhere it said I needed to reinstall my 2012 program and I went everywhere it said.   but did not write it down.    Seemed like it was to   pc  and told me I had 2012 program       tools    and reinstall and the contacts came back.   But I can not find those instructions.   Can anyone help?

Hi, I have a different hosting today

I setup the new email account in WLM and when I synk I loose all my old emails

And now I realize that all old emails are in the old hosting server and I dont have access anymore to the old server

BUT Where did they go? How can I get back my old emails?

I went to app C:\Usuarios\su nombre\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

and the folders of this email account are empty

Please help

I need access to my Sent emails but the message says "Nothing has arrived yet". When I hit the sync button, it says "Hold on while we fetch your email" and keeps trying to sync. I'd like immediate access to Sent emails and all the other folders where I move mail.

I have gmail personal account and business account. Both have folders set up for filing. I used to be able to access them.

Hotmail keeps asking me to reset password every time I log in

So, I uploaded the videos in which I recorded through my camera into Windows Movie Maker; and the problem the videos doesn't seem to play, be it audio or even the visual component of it. I tried removing that section of the video, inserting it again and it seems to work until I save and close the video. Cuz when I reopen it the same parts does not work and I can't seem to find out what the problem is. 

Help anyone?
