My new EBook Notebook laptop already has everything that's in Windows Essentials, i.e., Movie Maker, OneDrive (and I've been using the OneDrive for 3 years so it's a going thing), etc., EXCEPT for Photo Gallery. When I look for a free download of Photo Gallery for Windows 8.1, the only suggestion/link I get is to Windows Essentials.
Is there NOT a download for Photo Gallery ALONE?
Will downloading Windows Essentials just add extras of the other stuff OR will it override their counterparts? I'm not interested in the others except for OneDrive since I already use it. I DON'T want to lose anything that's already up there on the cloud and I don't want two clouds!
Help!
PS. New computers aren't fun anymore when MS makes it so difficult to find help from the "Help/Support" desk when you need it!!
Hi
That's the second time that an email from outside is not delivered to outlook 2011 for mac.
I know about the emails because I got them on the iphone on the mail app, but those two never appeared on the mac, either in the quarantine box or inbox.
I tried synchronisation but to no avail.
The account is set up as imap, the same way on the iphone and on the mac outlook 2011.
Both time, I have been able to transfer the email from the iphone to the mac by the transfer function.
Both time, it was very important email for work.
One of the emails had many files attached the other none but pictures in the body.
The account is set up with orange.
Have any of you experienced the same thing?
Do you know how to force emails to be received?
Is there something to do to avoid that?
Thanks
The problem is - calendar notification not getting sent to my email address.
I am presently running windows 10.
When I open email on my computer, then go to the calendar, put the pointer over the "bell" in the top tool bar. It identifies as "Reminders: Select which email addresses you want notification delivered to". If I click on the bell it brings up an error page "We can't find that page".
Therefore, Clicking on the bell to select where I want my notification to go NO LONGER WORKS!!!!!
Things I have tried.
I found that if I went to www.calendar.live.com, then select an event, then select details. It brings up a detail panel to the left of the screen and if you look at the reminder "box" it will tell you where it is sending them. In my case it appears that the default selection for where my reminders were to be sent was "Notification on your device". Since I do not have any device,s other than my primary computer, that meant that I did not receive any notifications. However, in my case, if I clicked on the check box inside the reminder box (in the details), then I had the option to select my "email address" instead of "Notifications on your device".
This has worked for me and I have been receiving notifications on my email for the past two days. It meant, however, that I had to open the details for every reminder that I have on my calendar (in the online calendar) and change the reminder box from "Notifications on your device" to "my email".
It also means that, until I can find a better way, I have to do this step for every new event I want a notification for.
