All of a sudden Live Mail is asking for a password. I do not know what password I used and have tried all. I use my live mail for work and can not get my emails. This just happened. What can I do to change the password or find out what password I used. It keeps asking me for a password. I can not get mail if a new password is sent. HELP
I can take a 5 second video clip directly from my hard drive and as soon as I try to split it somewhere while using moviemaker, it automatically "loses" the data, and gives me an error to "fix" the rest of the movie..
I use moviemaker to create business related videos, and this after all these years??? Computers and software are supposed to make advances as years roll forward, not become completely useless. No amount of uninstalling and reinstalling moviemaker does any good whatsoever. The software has been rendered useless and is no longer a part of my video editing tools because of its CONSTANT propensity to crash for NOTHING... a FIVE SECOND VIDEO located on the C: drive and it cannot find the file????
This software has become a ridiculous waste of time to try and use.
Windows movie maker does not open on a VMware system using a VMware SVGA 3D. Main driver is vm3dum.dll, vm3dgl.dll, version 7.14.1.2023. DirectX features, DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration are all not available. Driver is up to date according to a search for an update.
Compatibility mode does not open either.
Version from 2011 does not open either.
Does anyone know what needs to be done to the hardware to get this working?
Roger
My Windows Live Mail 2012 suddenly started opening hanging (Not responding).
But only sometimes.
Have run 'Windows Live Essentials' Repair in vain.
Have done system restores, which sometimes fix it and sometimes don't.
The problem keeps recurring.
The problem has been almost a week but never had such problems for all the years I have had Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail.
All forum advice seems to straightaway suggest reinstalling if the Repair does not work. I would much rather fix the problem on the basis of the log file than go through all the trouble of reinstalling and recreating the account and all that's in it.
How can I attach log file from C:UsersJanetAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows Live Mail? I have it in zip form. It is only 3kb zipped.
I would be grateful for any help in fixing this problem and can send any other logs.
Janet

Hi Folks,
I've just installed Photo Gallery and it looks great, however I can't get it to Import the photos I store on my external Passport, as it doesn't recognise the drive.
Any ideas, please?
Thanks.
Ron
