My fingers sometimes move faster than my brain and as a result a year or so lost all of my Emails.  I recovered them but do not remember how.

Gradually my Saved Emails got into a mess and the list of folders or is it files on the left hand side of the panel lost their alphabetical format.  There were a series of digits in some places which when opened showed genuine folder name whilst others were empty.

I started to try to tidy this mess up but could not work out how to get the list in alphabetical order and along the way I pressed the wrong key and lost the lot.  I got an "expert" in to help and they found most of the lost folders but many are still missing.

Is there an application or whatever one calls such things that I can use to recover the lost Emails?

all my incoming emails not showing in windows live inbox but they are showing in my gmail and thunderbird inbox

I have recently moved some 2000 photos from my phone to my external hard drive as back up and when I tried to open the photos from my external hard drive using Windows Live Gallery some of the photos came up to be empty and showed that it cannot be displayed because it is an empty file (0 mb).

So if anyone has any idea how to retrieve these photos back, that'd be great as these are the only copies of the photos I have and I'm really regretting not having it backed up elsewhere before transferring. I am using Windows 8.

I was receiving over 100 junk e-mails per day using the High junk mail filter. I spent two hours going through a year of e-mails to ensure that every correspondent is in my Address Book. Then I switched to the Exclusive junk mail filter. This cut Input box junk e-mail to around 50 per day, but it should have cut it to zero. How is it possible to get junk mail? The programming is not even 101 level: e-mail arrives---get sender's e-mail address---compare with list of e-mail addresses in Address Book---if no match to list, put received e-mail in Junk E-mail folder. I just can't see how this can fail.

I looked at the sender address of dozens of junk e-mails, and none of them come close to the e-mail addresses in my Address Book. Is this another case of sloppy programming on the Mac versions of Office that Microsoft can't be bothered to fix?

Hi,

Can anyone help me? I'm an IT from a company, and yesterday (Sept 10, Philippines Date) i set-up an Out of Office Reply in Windows Live Mail using Rules (the company is using POP3 mail server not an Exchange Server), when the rule is completed i activated the rule and send a test message to my own mail to test if it will automatically reply the "out of office template" that i created, but unfortunately the "Mail Service Delivery" continuously delivers email to my account (continuously means tons of emails), i already contacted Microsoft about it, they said to contact our ISP, i checked with out ISP and they said that our lines don't have any problems, what should I do to stop that mail?

Thanks,

I am unable to get my emails from an @msn.com account into Windows Live Mail 2012.  I set up the account and put in the password but it does not download my folders and just keeps asking for the password again and again and again when it is trying to pick up emails.  I know that it is the correct password as I can sign into the account through Outlook.  I have tried setting up the account automatically and manually following the microsoft instructions but it just will not work.  Every other account I have works with Windows Live Mail it just seems to be my @msn.com.  Can anyone help ?

Thanks.

I downloaded Windows 10, didn't like it, so I recovered Windows 7.

Part of my emails came back.  I am using Windows Live Mail.  There is a folder that says "Recovery Files'.

Sometime when I click on that, I see all the folders and files I had before.  Sometimes there is a message that says that nothing is there.  How can I 'catch' the folders and move them to the current Windows Live Mail?

Wish I had never downloaded Windows 10!

I upgraded to Window 10 while using Windows Live Mail and all seemed to go well until I activated the Mail App. Now WML wants me to sign in then tells me I don't have an Internet connection which, of course, I do. How do I get WML to understand I am connected?
Is anyone else having trouble installing this new security update?  This is the first time an update has failed : "The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.  Please contact the software manufacturer for assistance."  Thanks!
