I have "upgraded" from Office 2011 to 2016: with Word and Excel crashing multiple times every hour.
I would prefer to roll back to Office 2011, but I'm not sure if Word and Excel will regain stability as my Mac is now running El Capitan. Does anyone have experience with this?
I have two Hotmail.ca accounts that I have been using Windows Live 2012 using Windows 7 for a few years now without issues.
Recently I have been unable to delete using the delete button on either account.
If I use Outlook or another email client everything works.
I setup my account on a new computer that is also using Windows 7 and have the same issue.
I then setup a new account on the old computer using Windows Live 2012 and everything works.
To me it looks like the hotmail.ca accounts are somehow corrupted but I have not found a way to fix it.
All suggestions will be appreciated.
When do we get a fix?
Today, Tomorrow, Never?
grazie
Since moving to a new laptop, and installing Windows Live Mail 2011, I find that I cannot receive emails on it. I can send but cannot receive.
It gets worse. Even on my old laptop I am faced with a sign on text box which does not recognise my name or password. I have simply selected <CANCEL> and proceeded as normal. Since moving to the new laptop it too will not recognise my name and password. Despite a message in the text box to say that I cannot send or receive messages, I can send them. I tested this by sending them to myself. They are picked up on my Kindle okay, AND my old laptop, but not the new one.
Why?
I suspect that the answer is to ditch Windows Live Mail and move to another client [or whatever the correct terminology is].
I would be reluctant to do this as I felt comfortable using it for the last five years or so.
Hi all,
I started with a new Mcbook pro a couple of weeks ago, and I have installed Office 2011. When trying to synchronise my icloud contacts and calendar , I can't get anything into Outlook, although I have ticked everything. Searching through recent postings, there doesn't seem a solution. If this is the case, I will remain working with Apple Mail only, or has there been a recent solution?
Best,
Achim
Hi.
Until yesterday, my emails were working fine. Then all of a sudden, I couldn't send. I am receiving emails, no problem, but sending is a problem. Messages are just sitting in my outbox.
Error message reads as follows:
Unable to send or receive messages for the LEDGER OFFICE account. The connection to the server has failed.
Server: 'mail.ledgersystems.co.za'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10060
Can someone please assist me with this problem?
Thank you
My video project has essentially gone blank:
No more audio, no video, and the photo files only appear if I play with the zoom (+) in feature.
Last time it worked, I saved the file and closed Movie Maker (no known error or crash), and I did not move the movie file or the files that I used for the movie file. (They are not in the same folder, however.)
The play function will work, but all that appears are a few photo files, the captions; however, nothing in the storyboard and nothing in the storyboard can be clicked on/cut/isolated/deleted, etc.
I have tried uninstalling Windows Essentials, and tried doing the repair; no luck.
I am using Windows 10.
I have read other comments about Windows Movie Maker not doing well with too many captions/music/transitions; this movie file ia 10:00 minutes with 4/5 music clips and several transitions.
I am happy to remove some of these files to make the Movie Maker happier - I just can't edit the file as it is.
Please help!
