Windows Live Mail FAQ
I have windows 8.1 on my HP Envy laptop and am trying to load windows movie maker for windows 8.1 and I get the preparing to install box up but it goes no further. Have tried this many times without success. Has anyone experienced this, and/or have a fix?

Windows Live Mail 2011 stopped working. Message box kept stating that it was not responding.
I downloaded and installed Live Mail 2012 from Windows Essentials 2012 - the Live Mail 2012 still failed to open. I uninstalled the Live Mail/Essentials program.
I tried to reinstall WLM 2011 after downloading it from the Windows Website. A message box advised that the later version (WLM 2012) was preventing the installation but the display under the uninstall tab of my 'Control Panel' showed that WLM 2012 had been uninstalled.
Can anyone help me get any version of Windows Live Mail to work?

My business gmail tried both POP or IMAP config, will not work on Widows 10, Live Mail 2012
Yet, on another PC, Windows 7, Live Mail 2009 exactly the same settings, works fine.
Google support has tried to assist. Exhausted all ideas

all windows live programs are on my computer but cannot open them link appear to be lost
that happen after uninstalling windows live and reinstalling it as suggested

I've had no problems with Windows Live Mall on Windows 7 until I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and went back to Windows 7. Duplicate emails down loaded when on Windows 10. Now in Windows 7 I cannot empty the deleted items or junk email.
When I try to delete an individual email or a group of emails from these folders I get the message "an unknown error has occurred.

My outlook 2011 for mac crashes in my Macbook Pro for no reason, sometimes I'm not using it and when I return to outlook it doesn't respond. This started after installing OS X El Capitan. I have to force exit and then open it. It works for awhile and then it happens again. Help please!
