While I was composing a message, the message itself was minimized to the tray.  I believe that I hit the Windows key plus some other by clumsy typing, but I cannot undo it.  Now, any message I open is also minimized in the same way.  The same applies if I click to define a new contact.  The main screen of messages or contacts is not affected.

I have right-clicked in the window to bring up the Restore/Move/Size/Minimize/Maximize, but I have not been able to change it with any of those options.  I toggled through the open screens, but I cannot bring it up for normal operation.  I did a repair on Windows Live Essentials, a Restart, etc., but have not found how I can undo this strange setting.  I am using Windows Live Mail in Windows 7.

Thank you for any suggestions.

I am running Windows 7 on a HP desktop.  Until recently, I could find and use the Photo Gallery/editor in Windows Essentials 2012.  I cannot find it now.  I have tried to repair Windows Essentials but get the error 0x800c0006 with 2 different "sources"; crt90-i386 and wllogin-amd64.

I tried uninstalling Windows Essentials 2012 and cannot do that either.  Errors are 0x80040609 and 0x8007064c.  I loked at old messages regarding these error codes, but could not find anything that works.

I had installed an unrelated program.  I restored the computer to a point prior to the new installation and still do not have, nor can repair, nor uninstall Windows Essentials 2012.

What do I do to get Windows Essentials 2012 working?

Hi

When I download Livewriter from the MS page I get the installer, and when I open this it meets an error and is unable to continue.  I have no ideas.  In the past I've re-downloaded LW three times after crashes etc. in just a few minutes with no problems. Now it won't work at all.  Please advise. Thanks.

Windows Live Mail 2012 keeps spinning for quite some time before actually loading.  Very annoying and frustrating!

 I am using Windows 10.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Original title: Photo Gallery

I have Photo Gallery on desktop and now it will not go there when I click on it.  I downloaded Windows Essential as suggested.  Still cannot access Photo Gallery.  How do I download photos from the camera with a memory card?  What happened to Photo Gallery and how do I get it to work?

I keep my Windows Live Mail set to hide the "Storage folders." In order to continue to hide that part of the display I must change the setting every time my system restarts. How can I keep the setting through restarts?

To add an email account

  1. Open Windows Live Mail by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mail.
  2. In the lower-left corner, click Mail.
  3. Click the Accounts tab, and then click Email.

I clicked the start button and typed “Mail” into it the instructions state.

  1. Open Windows Live Mail by clicking the Start button  . In the search box, type Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mail.
  1. In the lower-left corner, click Mail.

There was no sign of “Windows Live Mail” in the results or “Mail” in the lower lefthand corner.

I want to view my photos that exist on my windows 10 PC on my home TV using DLNA. Although it's not clear what role media player (MP) plays in this process. In particular I do not see the same folder structure in media player as I see in file explorer. I searched online and used links to microsoft sites and just go in a circle leaving me with the same questions: what does MP do; how do i know it's doing it; how do I know when it's done; and how do I make it do what its suppose to do.

I've been successful in viewing my photos for many months, but when I change the photo folders on my PC I don't know how to have those changes reflected when viewing on TV. I close and reopen MP, I reboot my PC; I reset the Blueray DVD player and TV system and finely cuss and shake a few of the devices and finally I get my photos to show up on the TV... most of the time.

MP documentation is what I need. I know it's not Photo Gallery.
