The moment I upgraded to El Capitan, like so many others, the trouble with Outlook for Mac 2011 began. But I've now completed all the Microsoft Office updates (14.5.8) and all the El Capitan updates (10.11.1). But still Outlook crashes -- quits and restarts itself -- at least 10 times a day. How can I get the crashing to stop? How can I return Outlook to its former, stable, reliable status? Someone suggested the problem is Mac 2011 itself and I should upgrade to Office 2016. Is this the right way to go on this? If not, what might be the best solution? Thank you for any and all help. -Jeff
This morning I came into my office and sat down to work. Before I could open Windows Live Mail, the power went out for a few minutes (very windy here!). When the computer came back on, I could not open Windows Live Mail. I don't know if the power failure had anything to do with it, but now I get an error:
"Windows Live Mail could not be started. It may not be installed correctly. Make sure that your disk is not full or that you are not out of memory. (0x80041161)"
All my business emails are in WLM so I'm kind of freaking out.
I'm running 8.1.
I have plenty of memory available.
I have plenty of disk space available.
I tried rebooting and it didn't change anything.
I tried running the Windows Essentials repair program and that didn't work either.
I went into the AppData folder and copied the log, which you can see at this Pastebin link:

There's a very long list of errors there but I don't know how to fix it.
Hoping someone can help me get WLM going again so I can answer emails!
Thanks so much.
