I am unable to receive emails on one of my accounts. The other is working fine. When opening Windows Live, I receive a message that says unable to send/receive for this account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am able to view all emails when using the web based email service.

Hi, I am able to prepare my movie and it plays back fine but when I try to render it as a movie the first file in the sequence blanks out (small yellow triangle with !). Error say there are missing or unusable files.  the files are Windows media audio/video which I have previously converted from AVI files as movie maker won't read AVI. Using windows 7. I have read some posts and have  'repaired' the movie maker prg in response but still the same problem.  Hope someone can help,

Brian

I had a movie saved of a family member who has recently passed. It was saved in movie maker, it has not been renamed, moved or anything. Suddenly the file is missing. It played just fine in May. I don't know what happened to it or if there is anything I can do to recover it. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

I have installed Windows Live Mail on a new Windows 10 system.  Receiving mail with it is fine, but when I try to send a message I get an error: Socket error 11001; Error ID 0x800ccc0d (The host could not be found).  I have verified the account settings with my ISP (ATT) and they are all correct.  Have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Live Essentials, disabling the firewall temporarily, and a couple of other things, but nothing has worked.  I have an older computer with WLM running Windows 10, and that works fine.  Any suggestions?

I try to load Windows Essential (have Windows 10) so that I can get Movie Maker.  While trying to load Windows Essential 12, once I get to the step  "Preparing to Install" it keeps running this step (like forever).  In fact I have to turn the computer off to get out of this step.  Any suggestions on how to get past this step and do a successful download?

Thanks

When I am making a video I have the audio and pictures/video together. I have fitted the pictures/video so I could see the whole audio. I am trying to cue text with the audio, when I do the audio is in a different spot to how I hear it and where it is displayed on the screen. I have to keep going back to the beginning to get the timings right. Also when I preview my movie in full screen mode the timings are off, while they aren't if I watch it in the editing screen. Any answers will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hi there

I have a video on Windows Movie Maker which contains someone swearing. I would like to either:

  1. Record a "bleep" sound over the swearing; or
  2. Mute/delete the audio as the person swears (mute for about half a second).

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!
