I installed Windows Photo Gallery on my laptop without an issue earlier this year.  Recently I upgraded to Windows 10 and now when I try to launch Photo Gallery, I get an error message that MSVCR.dll is missing and I need to re install the program.  I tried re installing Windows Essentials but it doesn't fix the issue.  I'm not very pc savvy so a basic explanation on how to fix this so I can continue to use Windows Photo Gallery would be appreciated.

I upgraded from windows 7 to windows10 and firefox browser now I keep losing my internet connection. This did not happen with windows 7 and internet explorer browser. I have to reboot or shut down and start up to get my internet back.  Help Please.

I am at my wits end.  I have followed to the letter (about four times) the process for re-setting my Windows Live Mail password in order to retrieve my email following a reset of my computer.  The security team have confirmed I am who I say I am and I have a new password that allows me in to my Microsoft account.  However, Windows Live mail still continues to ask me for my password even though I use the same recently changed one that gets me into my MS Account.  There is no other procedure for changing my WLM password other than that which I have followed four times over three days already.  The whole process is kafka-like - unless someone out there knows better.  Please help!

When I try to import photos, the import photos screen shows up, and it asks you to select which photos you want to import, but that's it. You can select photos, but there is literally no button to actually import them into your computer. I don't know what to do, Windows 10 must have updated something weird because it wasn't always like this, I just got this new import screen recently and there's just no way to import.

The screen looks like this. If I scroll all the way to the bottom there is still no import button. I've pressed enter and still nothing happens. Please help!

Hi I'm using Windows Live Mail 2012 as my email program. Lately I've had a recurring problem with the connection terminating. I get the following messages:

The server did not respond to the IM command before the connection was terminated.

code 800cccde

or:

Your server has expectantly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this includes servers problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The last message I got said: it was a non network error

this is only happening with WLM, not when I'm browsing

I called my provider and they said it was the application that was a problem, not with their server. Can anyone give me an idea on how to solve this.

Many thanks

Diane
