Question about Outlook Express

it seems there is an interesting feature that replaces all instances of &reg with the special "registered" character: ®.

So:

http://foo.com/bar?foo=bar&region=US

Becomes:

http://foo.com/bar?foo=bar®ion=US

Fun stuff is that it doesn't seem to be browser related because transferring the email keeps it the replacement, apparently.

Now, I'd like to question this:

- is Hotmail really altering the actual content of my email, or just the viewing?

- can Hotmail stop replacing these characters by default when not ending in ';'

- at the very least, can Hotmail stop doing that in the middle of a URL? that shouldn't be too hard and would most certainly fix the issue.

I have been using Windows 10 some time, for no apparent reason my wife's live.co.uk "E" mails stopped recognising the password & cannot be used.

We keep getting told wrong password, I have reset it several times through Windows 10, this allows me to log in but Windows live is still not accepting the password. My main account "E" mails are with btinternet.com & these work. Can any one help please?

All/Microsoft,

I have been using Windows 10 with Microsoft Mail for some time.  However one day I opened up Microsoft Mail and I could no longer see the content of the emails.  I can only view the titles now.

I have tried repairing the Windows Essentials element.  I have tried forcing updates and I have also turned off Avast mail scanner.

I am not sure how else to resolve this.

Please advise.

I recently downloaded windows movie maker 2012 for windows 8.1 since I have a Logitech C920 webcam. Every time I try to use the webcam on movie maker, the webcam is not widescreen with either my Logitech or built in camera. It has big black sides as a sign of where it cuts off, but when I use my webcam for programs like Skype or Elgato Game Capture, the webcam works in widescreen 1080p. I would like to resolve this problem. Because I heard recording with a webcam on movie maker is easy to transport to sony vegas if you're trying to make game content to youtube. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
