Why, all of a sudden, I can not send emails. It will not send. "Windows Live is Shutting Down." What is going on?.
Running Windows 7 on a laptop and using Windows Live Mail, I continue to get the error code 0x800C013B even though I have read all the posts and repaired Windows Essentials many times, even upgraded to 2012 version, all to no avail. Cannot receive or send email. If I uninstall Windows live mail and reinstall it, would this help, would I lose my mail? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks,
How do I get Outlook Mail to show all of my old emails in my inbox instead of just the last 30 days?
Original Title: Windows 10 Outlook Mail app.
I am running Windows 10. I was running Windows Live Mail 2012 connected to a Microsoft live email account and could see all of my old messages in the inbox. I received an email from Microsoft stating they are making changes (if I remember on the live, Hotmail, etc. end) that requires a patch to continue using these accounts with Windows Live Mail 2012, and they suggested replacing this old email app altogether with Outlook Mail that comes with Windows 10.
So, I uninstalled Windows Live Mail 2012 and fired up the new Outlook Mail and connected it to my Microsoft live email account. Everything appeared to work fine until I noticed there is only the last month of emails in displayed in the inbox. I cannot send emails and now have stopped receiving, I have tried to reset everything but must still be doing something wrong, I am @ ntlworld.com. tried looking up on their helpline but still no help and if I try to send email I get message tom enter password, but will not accept what I put in
I just used the update link from the email stating "In order to continue using Windows Live Mail 2012 to send and receive email for your account, you need to install the latest update published here."
When I applied the update all of the subfolders in my inbox vanished, along with all of the saved email content.
HOW IS THIS AN UPDATE? HOW IS THIS HELPFUL? CAN IT BE FIXED?
