Uninstalled Windows Essentials 2012 and reinstalled – still have problems with windows live mail

I received an answer regarding a previous question about problems opening Windows Live Mail.  I followed his instructions and still had problems.  Today I decided to uninstall Windows Essentials 2012 and reinstall it.  I'm still having problems.  When I go to start Windows Live Mail it does not open.  It just sits there spinning away.  I have to control, Alt, Delete to stop this.  I realize I probably lost all of my contacts and folders when I uninstalled, but I still am nowhere.  I really liked Windows Live mail (it was the closest to the old Outlook Express).  Using Firefox and Windows 7 Pro. 

There must be something I can do and I'd appreciate more help with this.  Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I'm trying to install Photo Gallery but SQL Server 2005 was missing.

I ran

sfc /scannow

but it detected no errors.

I tried another uninstallation of Windows Essential 2012 (all parts of it removed).

After uninstalling I deleted the Windows Live folders from

C:Program FilesWindows Live  and
C:Program FilesCommon FilesWindows Live

Then I restarted the computer, and downloaded the offline installer (English) from this page: http://windows.microsoft.com/sv-se/windows-live/essentials-install-offline-faq

I ran the downloaded file (I right clicked the exe installation file and selected to run as Administrator) and I chose to install Windows Essentials 2012, with Movie Maker and Photo Gallery selected.

Starting Photo Gallery I got the same error as before:

The "Go to Download Center" button in the dialogue box above was not working. I got to a dead page.

The message above was followed by this error:

So I searched for SQL Server 2005 Express, found it and downloaded it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17439

There was a note about the program not being compaible with Windows 10 when I started the installation, but I let it install anyway.

This page however – https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2681562 – clearly states that

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (the release version and service packs) and earlier versions of SQL Server are not supported on Windows 10.

Does Photo Gallery work with any newer version of SQL Server?

If I uninstall windows live mail and then reinstall will I loose all my contacts and folders? This is in windows10. I am getting the message missing msvcr110.dll.

I have been trying to get on to Microsoft office, to down load some games. On my Windows 10. But, every time I click on my Microsoft store, I pops up and just disappears  in a few second.   It does not give information, for the reason why.  So, I called HP, sinse my computer is and HP Desktop computer, any ways.  They said that there is absolutely something wrong, with the program and I would have to get a hold of Microsoft, to have it fixed.  But, they must have given me the wrong phone number.  Because, I absolutely could not reach them. So, if anyone has their phone number, would you please let me know what it is, so I can get a hold of them right away.  But, if you absolutely know how to fix it. Would you please let me know this, also.

How do I crop videos in movie maker just like you crop photos.

So I have been wanting to record web games for a long time and since I am cheap I only use movie maker but I don't want all those annoying ads on the side and just want the web game to cover up the entire screen, so I want to crop my videos just like how you crop pictures but I don't know how. Any answers?

I am receiving an error code 0x800C0155,2 mail could not be started it is being used by another program.  I want to uninstall and reinstall as I do not have a repair option through "uninstall programs"  my question is, if I uninstall the WLM program will it affect other users on the computer?

movie maker 2012 black screen preview

I have upgarded to movie maker 2012, now there is no preview of video. Display adapters are Radeon (TM) HD6490M and Intel(R) HD graphics. I have tried to update the driver and it has the latest version. I have tried to udpated the driver from amd website and it didnt work so I had to uninstall the installed drivers. The direct X version is 11.

The only time it worked is when i changed the swithcable graphics in bios to fixed from dynamic. But then I have started getting blue screen every 10 minutes, so i had to switch it back to dynamic.

I have tried to do system restore to get the old version of windows movie maker and that failed. I have tried in safe mode also with no luck.

I have tried to install windows essentials 2011 from this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26689 but the set up will be in preparing for install and it will stop with error saying cannot install, check the internet connection. I think microsoft stopped allowing to install 2011 version. 

Is there anyway I can get the 2011 offline installer or a solution for blank preview in 2012 movie maker?
